1738 Mary Elizabeth Bortner, daughter of Balthaser Bortner and wife, was born on March 8. She was baptized on April 30, 1738 at Little Tulpehocken Church (Jefferson Twp, Berks County, Pennsylvania) with sponsors Wilhelm Leitner and wife. Elizabeth and Michael Low moved from Pennsylvania to North Carolina. [7]

1776 Elizabeth and Michael Low moved from North Carolina to Tennessee. [8]

1781-1789 Michael Low/Lau was taxed in Manchester and Codorus, York County, Pennsylvania.

1786-1800 Michael Low was listed on the Pennsylvania septennial census in Manchester, York County, Pennsylvania.

1791 Michael Low warranted land in Codorus Twp, York County. [9] The land was adjacent to his own land and land of Barnet Zeigler. [10] [11]
