Notes for Margaret Chedworth

1490 Margaret Chedworth (Margarete Duchesse Norf.) wrote her will on 13 May. She asked for two virtuous priests to sing in the church of Stoke by the space of three years for "my soule my lords John Nores Esquier Nicholas Wyfold and for all other that I have be beholde to." She bequeathed to "my daughter the Lady Barnes (Berners??) and to my sonne hyr husbande" (household and chancel goods), "Alson Walys" (53s 4d), "Agnes Banyard" (26s 8d), "my daughter Redmyll" (goods), "my daughter Marney" (goods), "Margaret West" (26s 8d), "Katheryn Frere" (5s), "Wyllyam Frettysham" (6s 8d), "Bullok" (26s 8d), and "all other my seruints after the disposition of myn executors." The will was proved on 3 December 1494. [1]
