1871 Charles C. Page, age 18, and Laura F. Trees were married on March 16 in Clermont County, Ohio. (FHL film 000327565). [2]

1890 Charles C Page lived in Amador, Butler County, Kansas when his father, C.W. Page, died.

1895 Laura Trees Page was buried at Prairie Lawn Cemetery, Marion County, Kansas. Laura Trees Page was born in 1852. [3]

1900 Charles C Page (born in Ohio in Oct 1838, married for 5 years) lived in Peabody Twp, Marion County, Kansas, in a household with Ella S Page (age 47), and Mamie Page (age 22, adopted daughter). Charles C Page's parents were both born in Ohio. Charles C Page was a bank cashier. [4]

Charles Carlos Page, son of Wm and Jane Page, was born in Clermont county, Ohio, October 20, 1848. Ha died at his home in Peabody, Kansas, November 10, 1915, being at that time 67 years and 20 days old.

There were born of the same parentage five sisters and one brother, Three sisters only survive. These are Mrs. O. M. Swope. and Mrs. J.H. Barkley, both of Bethel, Ohio, and Mrs. Edward Galbreath of Vincennes, Ind.

As a young man Mr. Page moved from Ohio to Kansas. He stayed in Kansas only a short time when he went to Fairfield, Iowa, where he lived three years. Having thus spent a few years in what was then the far west he returned to his native state, where he was united in marriage to Miss Laura Trees. Some years later an adopted daughter was blessed by being taken into this home and as Mamie Page she grew to womanhood and is now living in Cincinnati, Ohio. Mr. Page again came to Kansas in the year 1874 and settled on a farm in Northern Butler county, not far from Peabody. For fourteen years he taught school in the winter time and the rest of the time was at work on the farm.

After that until his removal to Peabody in 1892 he devoted all his time to farming and stock raising. Mrs. Page died as the result of an accident, January 28, 1895. On February 2, 1896 he was married to Ella Page, who, with the three sisters and adopted daughter, mourns the loss of their dear one who has been taken home to Glory.
