Notes for Jacob W. Meals, son of Jacob:
1839 On 27 November, Jacob Meals, minor son of Jacob Meals, of Menallen Twp, deceased, above the age of 14, petitioned for a guardian because John Quickel, his guardian had died. Frederick Quickel, perhaps his brother-in-law, was appointed guardian. [1]
1845 Jacob W. Meals, son of Jacob Meals Jr, died on January 17, in his 24th year and was buried at Benders Lutheran Church Cemetery, Biglerville, Adams County, Pennsylvania. [2] [3] [4]
1846 On May 26, at the Orphans' Court at Gettysburg, York County, Pennsylvania: "Came into court Samuel Gilliand and Frederick Quickle administrators of Jacob Meals dec'd and produced an account of their administrations as settled with the register." showing balance $74.63. [5]
