1789 Abraham Wenger, son of Joseph G. and Barbara (Hoover) Wenger, was born on October 13, near Edom, Rockingham County, Virginia. [1] [2] [3]

1799 Mary Grove was born March 2, 1799. [4] [5]

1820 Abraham Wenger married Mary Grove on May 23, 1820. [6] [7]

1826 Abraham Wenger purchased land in the Middle River and Northern part of the South River Districts of Augusta County, Virginia. Land purchases were also recorded in 1832, 1835, and 1843.

1830 Abm Winger lived in Rockingham County, Virginia in a household with Males: 2 (age Under 5), 3 (age 5 thru 9), 1 (age 15 thru 19), and 1 (age 40 thru 49); Females: 2 (age 10 thru 14), and 2 (age 30 thru 39). [8]

1837 Mary (Grove) Wenger died on July 1 and was buried at Hildebrand Mennonite Cemetery, Augusta County, Virginia. [9] [10] [11] [12]

Abraham Wenger was a minister of the Mennonite Church for many years at Hermitage, Augusta County, Virginia. [13] [14]

"Abraham … became Brethren and Mennonite ministers in Augusta County". [15]

1840 Abraham Wanger lived in Augusta County, Virginia in a household with Males: 1 (age Under 5), 1 (age 10 thru 14), 1 (age 15 thru 19), 1 (age 20 thru 29), 1 (age 40 thru 49), and 1 (age 50 thru 59); Females: 1 (age 20 thru 29), and 1 (age 30 thru 39). [16]

1850 Abraham Wanger (age 61, born in Pennsylvania) lived in District 2 and a half, Augusta County, Virginia with Anna Wanger (age 30), John Wanger (age 13), Mary J Wanger (age 9), Barbara Wanger (age 2), Susan C Wanger (age 4/12), Geo W Coley (age 21), Susan Burkholder (age 25), Jno Picot (age 55), and [sister] Barbara Wanger (age 74). The estate was valued at $10,555. [21]

1857 Abraham Wenger dated his will on September 9 in Augusta County, Virginia. The will mentioned a wife and named son Elias, son-in-law Abraham Kindig, and son John W Wenger. Jacob Hildebrand was named executor. The will was proved on September 28. [22]

1857 Abrm Wenger, married, died in September in Long Meadow, Augusta County, Virginia. He was born in Pennsylvania. He was a Farmer. [23] [24]

1857 Abraham Wenger died on September 25, 1857. [25] Abraham Wenger was buried at Hildebrand Mennonite Church Cemetery, Hermitage, Augusta County, Virginia. [26] [27]

1857 At the time of Abraham Wenger's death, his land was valued at $3128.27. The resolution of the estate involved land sales by Jacob Hildebrand.

1875 Annie Wenger was buried at Hildebrand Mennonite Cemetery, Augusta County, Virginia. [28] [29]

1875 Barbara Ann Wenger Cox died on May 29 at Barren Ridge, Augusta County, Virginia and was buried at Hildebrand Mennonite Church Cemetery, Augusta County, Virginia. Barbara Ann Wenger Cox was born in 1848. [30] [31]

1886 Mary Jane Wenger Wine died on August 18 at Hermitage, Augusta County, Virginia and was buried at Barren Ridge Church of The Brethren Cemetery, Hermitage, Augusta County, Virginia. Mary Jane Wenger Wine was born on September 1, 1840. [32] [33]

1887 Dr Elias Wenger died on August 28 at Gilman, Iroquois County, Illinois and was buried at Wenger Green Ridge Cemetery, Gilman, Iroquois County, Illinois. Dr Elias Wenger was born on April 16, 1821. [34] [35]

1896 Elizabeth Wenger Kendig died on August 27 at Augusta County, Virginia and was buried at Mount Vernon Church of the Brethren Cemetery, Augusta County, Virginia. Elizabeth Wenger Kendig was born on January 27, 1831. [36] [37]

1910 John W. Wenger died on May 10 at Shenandoah County, Virginia and was buried at Massanutten Cemetery, Woodstock, Shenandoah County, Virginia. John W. Wenger was born in 1837. [38] [39]

1923 Susan C Wenger died on February 6 and was buried at Hildebrand Mennonite Church Cemetery, Augusta County, Virginia. Susan C Wenger was born in 1850. [40] [41]
