1791 Samuel Good was born about this time. [1]

Samuel Good was the first postmaster of Bowmansville, formerly Bucktown. Samuel did not marry. [2]

1814-20 Samuel Good, son of Jacob, was taxed in Brecknock Twp, Lancaster County. He may have been taxed earlier as an inmate or freeman, but was not identified as Jacob's son in prior records. [Link, 1801-20 Samuel Good Brecknock tax records.]

1820 Samuel Good (age 26-45) lived in Brecknock Twp, Lancaster County, with a female (age 45+), perhaps his widowed mother, Veronica. [3]

1830 Samuel Good (no male was listed in the household) lived in Brecknock Twp, Lancaster County with female (age 60-70), perhaps his mother, Veronica. [4]

1840 Samuel Good (age 40-50) lived in Brecknock Twp, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. [5]

1850 Samuel Good, farmer (age 59) lived in Brecknock Twp, Lancaster County with an estate valued at $2750. [6]

1860 Samuel Good, farmer (age 69), lived in Brecknock Twp, Lancaster County with an estate valued at $2000. [7]

1860 Samuel Good died on September 29. [8]

1861 John B Good, administrator, filed his account on the estate of Samuel Good with value $4672.76 and expenses of $242.64 leaving a balance of $4,429.13. Dated July 2. Samuel Good died without heirs, so his estate was inherited by his brother John Good of Canada and the seven sons and daughters of his deceased brother Jacob, late of Brecknock Twp. Samuel's brother John Good of Canada was an heir. The seven sons and daughters of Samuel's brother, Jacob Good of Brecknock Twp deceased, were also heirs to Samuel's estate. Five heirs were present at the accounting and received their share of $316.36: Anna Good wife of John Good (miller), Lydia Huber widow, Elizabeth Mosser wife of Benjamin Mosser, Jacob B Good, and Sarah Mosser wife of Peter Mosser. [9]

1862 John B Good, administrator, made an accounting of Samuel Good's estate with Benneville B Good of Elkhart County, Indiana; one of the sons of Samuel's brother, Jacob Good of Brecknock Twp, Lancaster County. Benneville B Good received $316.31. Dated January 10. [10]

1862 John B Good, administrator, made an accounting of Samuel Good's estate with the administrators of the will of Samuel's brother John Good of Canada West, who had died since the death of Samuel Good. Solomon Gehman and Joseph Good were the executors of the will of John Good of Canada and received the share due to John Good. Dated April 4. [11]
