1786 David Mellinger Ebersole, son of Jacob Ebersole and Feronica Mellinger, was born on February 27. [2]

1798 Esther Burkholder was born on August 24. [3]

1814 Jacob Ebersole (the elder) and his wife Frances of Donegal Twp, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania sold land to his son David Ebersole. Dated March 15. Jacob Ebersol had purchased the land from Frederick and Elizabeth Gelbaugh in 1801 [4]. [5]

1819 Gertrude Nissley Ebersole was named as the spouse of David Ebersol in the will of Gertrude's father, John Nissley, recorded in Mt Joy Twp, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. David Ebersole was an executor for the estate of John Nissley. [6] [7] [8]

1820 David Eversole (age 26-45) lived in Donegal Twp, Lancaster County with two males (age 0-10), one male (age 16-26), one female (age 10-16), and one female (age 16-26). [9]

1821 Gertrude (Nissley) Ebersole died on January 10. [10]

1821 David Ebersole married, secondly, the widow Esther Lehman Burkholder-Oberholtzer on August 12. [11]

David Ebersole was a deacon in West Donegal Twp, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. [12]

1828 Jacob Ebersohl, of Donegal Twp, Lancaster County dated his will on January 6. The will named his four living children: David Ebersohl, Jacob Ebersohl, Maria (the wife of C. Stoner), and Veronica (the wife of Jacob Ebersohl). [13]

1844 David Ebersole and wife Esther, of Conoy Twp, sold land to John Ebersole, of West Donegal Twp, eldest son of David Ebersole. Dated April 1. [14]

1850 David Ebersole (age 64, born in Pennsylvania) lived in Conoy Twp, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, in a household with Esteran Ebersole (52), Mary Ebersole (23), Samuel Ebersole (20), David Ebersole (18), and Barbara Ebersole (11). David Ebersole was a farmer. [15]

1854 David Ebersole, son of David and Esther Ebersole married Annie Martin on November 2, in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. [16]

1854 David Ebersole wrote his will on January 26 in Conoy Twp, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, with probate date February 7, 1861. The will named wife Esther. son Samuel, and son David. Four daughters were mentioned, but only Mary was named. Sons John and Abraham were named executors. Witnessed by Daniel and Christian Ebersole. [17]

1860 David Ebersole (age 75, born in Pennsylvania) lived in Conoy Twp, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, in a household with Esther Ebersole (62), and Barbara Ebersole (20). David Ebersole was a rf. [18]

1861 David Ebersole died on February 14. [19] [20]

1879 Esther Burkholder Ebersole died on July 17. [21]

1883 Daughter Mary Ebersole Burkholder died on January 30 and was buried at Diller Mennonite Church Cemetery, West Pennsboro Township, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. Mary Ebersole Burkholder was born on May 19, 1827. [22] [23]

1854 Son David Ebersole and Annie Martin were married on November 2 in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. David Ebersole was a son of David Ebersole and Esther Ebersole. (FHL film 000941246). [24]

1880 Son Samuel D. Ebersole (age 57, born in Pennsylvania, married) lived in Elizabethtown, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, in a household with Susan W. Ebersole (54), Annie B. Ebersole (24), Eli B. Ebersole (18), and Daniel B. Ebersole (16). Samuel D. Ebersole's parents were both born in Pennsylvania. Samuel D. Ebersole was a flour store. [25]

1886 Daughter Elizabeth Ebersole Longenecker died on January 7 and was buried at Goods Mennonite Church Cemetery, Elizabethtown, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Elizabeth Ebersole Longenecker was born on December 26, 1824. [26] [27]

1896 Son Samuel D Ebersole died on September 14 and was buried at Goods Mennonite Church Cemetery, Elizabethtown, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Samuel D Ebersole was born on October 21, 1829. [28] [29]

EBERSOLE.-Samuel D. Ebersole was born Oct. 21st 1829, died Sept. 14th 1896, aged 66 years, 10 months, 23 days. Funeral services were held at Good's Mennonite M. H., on Thursday forenoon at 10:00 A. M., Sept. 17. Preachers Benjamin Lehman and Martin N. Rutt officiated. Interment was made in the graveyard adjoining the meeting house. He was a member of the Mennonite church since early manhood. His aliments were biliousness and liver complaint. His second wife, two daughters of the first wife, and two sons all living in Elizabethtown, Lancaster Co., Pa., one brother near Sterling, Illinois, and one sister living near Elizabethtown, also three grandchildren survive him.

1911 Son David D Ebersole died on August 15 at Sterling, Whiteside County, Illinois and was buried at Science Ridge Mennonite Cemetery, Sterling, Whiteside County, Illinois. David D Ebersole was born on April 9, 1832. [30] [31]

Ebersole. - David D. Ebersole was born in Lancaster Co., Pa., April 9, 1832; died at his home in Sterling, Ill., Aug. 15, 1911; aged 79 y. 4 m. 6 d. Funeral services were conducted Aug. 18 at the Science Ridge Church by A. C. Good and John Nice. Text, Psa. 73:24,25, and Num. 23:10 (last clause). Bro. Ebersole was a faithful member of the Mennonite Church. He is survived by his wife, 1 son, 4 daughters, 20 grandchildren, and 1 sister. Two daughters, 1 son, and 2 grandchildren have preceded him to the heavenly home.

1912 Daughter Barbara B Ebersole Witmer died on December 28 at Manheim Township, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania and was buried at Goods Mennonite Church Cemetery, Elizabethtown, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Barbara B Ebersole Witmer was born on September 12, 1839. [32] [33]
