1771 John Hear, miller, was taxed in Manor Twp, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. [7]

1775 The will of John Herr was proved on March 25, in Rapho Twp, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. The will was dated January 26, 1775 and named wife Barbara; sons John, Abraham, Christian, and Michael; daughters Barbara, Frena wife of John Whitmer, Elizabeth, Anna, Maria. Four daughters (Elizabeth, Frena, Anna, and Maria) have a different inheritance than daughter Barbara. Part of the estate was to be divided equally among children (except Michael and Barbara shall have no part thereof). Sons Christian and John were named executors. [8] [9]

1780 Maria Herr and Tobias Hollinger were married at First Reformed, Berwick Twp, Lancaster, Pennsylvania. [10] [11]

1782 Maria Hollinger, late Maria Hare, one of the daughters of John Hare late of Rapho Township, being above the age of fourteen chooses her husband Tobias Hollinger as guardian over her estate during her minority. Dated May 6. [12]

1790 Tobias Hollinger lived in Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, in a household with 2 males under age 16, 1 males age 16 and over, and 4 females. [13]

1800 Tobias Hollinger lived in Washington Twp, Franklin County, Pennsylvania in a household with males: 2 (under 10), 2 (10 thru 15), 1 (16 thru 25), and 1 (45 and over); and females: 2 (under 10), 1 (10 thru 15), 1 (16 thru 25), and 1 (26 thru 44). [14]
