1762 Four of the five sons of Andreas Kauffman received warrants for land on January 4 and received patents for land in Conestoga Manor, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania on January 6 [1]. Christian [2] [3], John [4] [5], Jacob [6] [7], and Michael [8] [9] Kaufman got warrants and patents on the same dates as each other. Jacob's patent was also related to a warrant by Andrew Kauffman [Andreas] dated November 2, 1737. [10] Brother Andrew Kauffman, who inherited the family land according to the will of their father Andreas Kauffman, had paid his siblings for their shares of the estate. Michael Kauffman, of Manor Twp, was granted a second land patent for 130 acres dated April 6. [11] [12] See also [13].
1771 Michael and Gertrude Kauffman sold land to Michael Kenig on May 18. Michael Kauffman had patented the land in 1762 [14]. [15]
1776 Michael and Gertraut Kauffman, of Manor Twp, sold land to Jacob Whitmore on July 25. [16]
1790 Michael Kauffman lived in Manor Twp, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania in a household with 3 males age 16+ and 2 females. [17] [18]
1791 The will of Michael Kauffman, of Manor Twp, Lancaster County, was confirmed and proved on January 11, 1791, with witnesses Christian Kauffman and Henry Shenck. The will was written in German and was not transcribed. Jacob and Isaac Kaufman were named executors. [19]
1791 Michael Kauffman was buried at Kauffman Cemetery, Lancaster, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Michael Kauffman was born in 1726. [20] [21]

Michael Kauffman, died in 1791. He reportedly married Catherine Immel. [22] However, several deeds name wife Gertraut. We seek further information about the number of wives that Michael had and their names.

Letters of administration for the will of Michael Coffman of Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania [a different person] were issued to Madalen Coffman and John Schallenberger on July 30, 1791. [28]
