1770 Johann Jacob Wise [Weiss], son of Jacob Weiss, and Anna Maria Haffner, daughter of Friedrich Haffner, were married on July 8, 1770; at 6 o'clock at Jacob Weiss' House. [4]

1773 Friedrich Haffner was not on the tax list in Cumru Twp. [5]

Research Notes:

We are researching Anna Maria Haffner, wife of Jacob Wise and daughter of Friedrich Haffner. Both Fredrick Haffner and Jacob Wise were taxed in Cumru Twp in 1765. Jacob Wisze lived in Cumru Twp in 1770 when son Jacob Wise and Anna Maria Haffner were married in his house.

Perhaps her father was related to Frederic Haffner [6] of Berks County, Pennsylvania. We seek further evidence about this possibility.
