Geo. Brenizer served in Company D of the 113th Pennsylvania Volunteers. [3] [4]

There are several records of George's death:

1862 George Brenizer died in October, at age 26, at Shippensburg, after enlisting in the Union Army on August 10 at Harrisburg. [5] [6]

1862 George Brenizer died of disease on October 20. [7]

1862 George W Brenizer died on October 20 and was buried at the Memorial Lutheran Church Cemetery, Shippensburg, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. [8] [9] [10]

1862 George W. Brenizer, Company D, 130th Infantry Regiment Pennsylvania on 20 October 1862, died of a wound mortal in the Battle of Antietam Creek. [11]

1862 Letters of administration were issued to James Blair on November 3, for the estate of George W Brenizer, late of the Borough of Shippensburg. [12]

1862 Widow Caroline M Brenizer was named as beneficiary on the pension card of Sgt George W Brenizer for service in Company D, Pennsylvania Infantry Regiment 130. Dated November 7. Caroline M Brenizer, widow of George W Brenizer was approved for a pension. [13] [14] [15] [16] [17] [18]

George Brenizer of Harrisburg and Clinton, Iowa:

1844 George Brenizer was a student at the "Lancasterian School" on Walnut Street between 4th and 5th Streets in Harrisburg. [20]

1850 George Brenizer (age 17), carpenter, lived in Harrisburg, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. Isabella Paxton (age 16) lived in the same household. [21]

1856 George Brenizer and Emma Louisa Goodhall were married on September 24 in Harrisburg, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania. [22] Note that Charlotte Brenizer and Reuben Reinhold were married on February 2, 1857 at the same church.

1860 George Brenizer (age 28, born in Pennsylvania) lived in Harrisburg Ward 5, Dauphin County, Pennsylvania, in a household with Emma Brenizer (age 22), Lilley Brenizer (age 2), Harry Brenizer (age 10/12), Alexander Barr (age 41), Elizabeth Barr (age 36), and Elizabeth Barr (age 6). George Brenizer was a carpenter. [23]

1863 George Brenizer living in the 4th ward of Harrisburg, Pennsylvania was reported as age 30, with occupation carpenter, to the draft board. Dated July 1. (Thus, his birthdate was between July 1, 1832, to 1833). [24]

1870 George Brenizer (age 38, born in Pennsylvania) lived in Clinton Ward 1, Clinton County, Iowa, in a household with Emma L Brenizer (age 32), Harry Brenizer (age 10), Ida M Brenizer (age 8), and James M Tyler (age 48). George Brenizer was a carpenter & joiner. [25]

1880 George Brenizer (age 46, born in Pennsylvania, married) lived in Clinton, Clinton County, Iowa, in a household with Emma L. Brenizer (age 41), Harry Brenizer (age 20), Ida Brenizer (age 17), Horace W. Brenizer (age 9), Bertha Brenizer (age 7), and Albert C. Brenizer (age 2). George Brenizer's parents were both born in Pennsylvania. George Brenizer was a carpenter. [26]

1900 Geo Brenizer (born in Pennsylvania in Aug 1833, married for 40 years) lived in Clinton, Clinton County, Iowa, in a household with Emma Brenizer (age 58), Verona Stoll (age 23), Sussie Stoll (age 26), and Frank Stoll (age 19). Geo Brenizer's parents were both born in Pennsylvania. Geo Brenizer was a justice peace. [27]

1918 George Brenizer died on December 31 and was buried at Springdale Cemetery, Clinton, Clinton County, Iowa. George Brenizer was born in 1832. [29] [30]

1850 Caroline Flory (age 19, born in Pennsylvania) lived in Chambersburg, Franklin County, Pennsylvania, in a household with George Flory (age 73), Christiana Flory (age 29), Henrietta Deaver (age 28), Lucretia Flory (age 16), George Deaves (age 7), David Deaves (age 2), and Lebright Gelwicks (age 22). [31]

1854 George Brenizer reportedly married Caroline M Flory on November 16, at Chambersburg, Franklin County, Pennsylvania. (documentation not seen)
