1868 Nancy J Barnhouse (age 22) and Levi Shaul (age 31) were married on July 14, in Buchanan County, Iowa. [1] [2]

1870 Levi Shaul (age 33, born in New York) lived in Perry, Buchanan County, Iowa, at post office Jessup, with Josephine Shaul (age 24). [3] [4]

1880 Levi Shaul (age 43, born in New York), married, Farmer, lived in Wichita, Sedgwick County, Kansas (father born in New York and mother born in New York). [5]

1885 L Shaul (age 48) and N.J. Shaul (age 38) lived in Shawnee, Johnson County, Kansas with children L.F. (male age 14), F.B. (female age 12). [6] [7]

1886 Nancy J Shaul was a beneficiary of the pension of Levi Shaul, died Apr 5, 1901, Olathe, Kans. [8] [9] [10]

1895 Levi Shaul (age 58?) and Josephine Shaul (age 46) lived in Olath, Johnson County, Kansas with daughter Jeanette (age 6). [11] [12]

1900 Levi Shaul (age 63) and Nancy Shaul (age 54) lived in Olathe, Johnson County, Kansas with daughter Jeanette (age 12). Nancy had had 5 children, with 3 living children. [13] [14] [15]

1901 Pvt Levi Shaul died on April 5 and was buried at Olathe Memorial Cemetery, Olathe, Johnson County, Kansas. Pvt Levi Shaul was born on August 17, 1836. [16] [17]

1905 James Hiddleston and Josie Shaul were married on February 22. [18]

1910 Josephine Hiddleston (age 63, born in Ohio, married for 5 years), wife, lived in Lexington Twp, Johnson County, Kansas, in a household with James Hiddleston (age 86). Josephine Hiddleston's father was born in Pennsylvania and her mother was born in South Carolina. Josephine Hiddleston could read and write. [20] [21]

1910 James Hiddleston died on December 18 and was buried at DeSoto Cemetery, De Soto, Johnson County, Kansas. James Hiddleston was born on April 15, 1824. An obituary reports that James Hiddleston married Josephine Shaw about 1908. [22] [23]

1914 Josie Hiddleston and John Bower were married on May 27 in Lost Spring, Kansas. [24]

1923 Josie Bower died on November 11, at age 77y 5m 25d in Puyallup, Pierce County, Washington. She was married to John Bower. Her parents were Daniel Barnhouse and Rachel Pickett. [26] Josephine Bower was buried at Woodbine Cemetery, Puyallup, Pierce County, Washington. [27] [28]

1951 Lodell Daniel Shaul died on July 11 in Buena, Yakima County, Washington at age 80. He was a son of Levi Shaul and Josephine Barnhouse. [29] [30] [31]
