1576 Margaret (Harlackenden) Crispe died. "John Crispe Esqr sonne of Sr Hen: Cripse Kt first married Margaret the daughter of Tho: Harlackenden, who left noe issue and died 1576" [1]
1583/84 The will of John Crispe was proved on March 21. "fo. 35. John Crispe of Birchington, Esq. To be buried in the north chancel of the parish church there between his father and his late wife there. His son Henry. His uncle John Haselhurst. His mother Dame Anne Crispe. Elizabeth his wife. His sister Browne. His cosen Mary Fineux. His unlce Henry Pettite. His brother Edward Crispe. His cosens Thomas and Vincent Denne, the latter Dr. of the Civil Law. His brother Php. Browne, gent. His cosens Richard Crispe, Esq., and Henry Crispe, gent. Henry Browne the younger, Esq. Proved 21 March 1583[/84]." [2]
1626 Elizabeth (Roper) Crispe died. "John Crispe esqr married for his second wife elezabeth daughter of Tho: Roper of Eltam esqr and by her had issue one sonne and she died anno 1626." [3]
