1900 Charles Wolfe (age 14) was a "farm laborer" living with father Ira and mother Clara with sister Grace (age 10), and brother Homer (age 4), in Union City Village, Jackson Twp, Darke County, Ohio. They lived next door to uncle Frank Shall (George F Shawl) across from the Union City high school, as described in brother Homer Wolfe's story. Feorge Frank Shawl lived with his wife Anna M (Brenizer), three daughters, and mother-in-law Sarah A (Weigel) Brenizer. Uncle George Shawl was a carriage blacksmith.
