1810 Emanuel Line was born on March 26. [1]

1813 Elizabeth Ritner was born on April 1. [2]

1834 Sara A Line, daughter of Emanuel Line and Elizabeth A Ritner, was born on May 5, in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. [3]

1836 Anna Line, daughter of Emanuel Line and Eliza Ritner, was born on June 23, in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. [4]

1842 Susan Line was born on July 8 in Mechanicsburg, Pennsylvania. [5]

1845 Leah F Line, daughter of Emanuel Line and Elizabeth Ritner, was born on November 9, in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. [6]

1850 Emanuel Line (age 40) and Elizabeth Line (age 37) lived at Silver Spring, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania with Mary J (age 10), Susan (age 7), Leah (age 5), and Joseph E Ritner (age 1). [7]

1853 William E Line, son of Emanual Line and (unknown), was born on November 12, in Pennsylvania. [8]

1860 A difficult to read census record suggests that E Line (age 51) and E Line (age 46) lived at Upper Allen, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania with A[nna?] (age 23), L[eah?] (age 14), W[illiam?] (age 7), and J Ritner (age 12). [9]

1870 Emanuel Line (age 60) and Elizabeth Line (age 57) lived at Silver Spring, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. [10]

1880 Eliza Line (age 67) lived in District 71, Silver Springs, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania with Leah Line (age 34). Her brother, Michael Ritner (age 79) lived with her.

1879 The will of Emanuel Line, of Silver Spring Twp, Cumberland County, was dated March 26, 1879 and was proved in probate court on June 11, 1879. The will named wife Eliza and six children: Sarah, Ann, Susan, Mary, Leah, and William. [11]

1879 Emanuel Line died on June 6, at age 69y 2m 10 d, and was buried at Chestnut Hill Cemetery, Mechanicsburg, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. [12]

1880 Eliza Line (age 67, born in Pennsylvania), widowed, self (head), Keeping House, lived in Silver Springs, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania (father born in Pennsylvania and mother born in Pennsylvania) with brother Michael Ritner (age 79), Leah Line (age 34), and grandson Carrie Bricker (age 19). [13]

1909 An obituary for daughter, Miss Leah Line, reported [14]:

Mechanicsburg, May 8. Miss Leah Line, aged 64 years, died yesterday at her home on North Frederick street. She was in ill health for several years, but was not seriously ill until a few days previous to her death. Deceased is a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Emanuel Line, of Silver Spring township, and she was born and lived on homestead until a year ago when, with her sister, Miss Anna Line, she came to make her home in this place. Deceased is survived by three sisters, Miss Anna, Mrs. David Heigley, of this place; Mrs. Samuel Bricker, of Abilene, Kan., and one brother, William Line, of Everett, Mich. ... interment will be made in Chestnut Hill cemetery ...

1910 Sarah A Heigly, widow, died on December 1, at Mechanicsburg, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. Sarah, daughter of Emanuel Line and Elizabeth A Ritner, was born on May 5 1834, in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. [15]

1913 William E, Line died on December 21, at age 60 in Osceola, Michigan. William E Line, son of Emanuel Line, was born in Pennsylvania. [16]

1919 Anna Line died on May 25, at Mechanicsburg, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. Anna Line, daughter of Emanuel Line and Eliza Ritner, was born on June 23, 1836 in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. [17]

1901 Mary J Bobb, wife of Alfred Bobb, died on September 18 and was buried at Old Graveyard, Carlisle, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. [18]
