1744 Samuel Large Jr, of Hunterdon county (son of Samuel and Rebecca), and Mary Murfin of Nottingham, dau. of William and Sarah, married at Chesterfield, 24th 3d mo. 1744. Witnesses: Samuel, John, Ebenezer, Jacob and Jane Large, Sarah, Robert, William, Mary and Amarylis Murfin, John Sykes, Timothy Abbott, Joseph Reckless, John Emley, John Bunting and others. [1]
1749 On 5 of month 4, Mary Large, daughter of William and Sarah Murfin, died, age 24. [2] [3]
1750, 28th day, 5th mo. (July). Samuel Large, Jun'r, of Chesterfield, Burlington County, dated his will. All estate to my daughters, Sarah and Mary; but if they should die under age then ½ to the children of my two brothers and sisters, and the other half to the children of William Murfln. My maid, Mary Rick, to be bound to a taylor's trade. Executors: brother, Robert Large, and brother-in-law William Murfin. Witnesses: Abraham Brown, Joseph Thorn, Deborah Bunting. Proved Aug. 6, 1750.
