1850 Jacob Stoner (age 37) and wife Mary (age 38) lived in Noble Twp, Noble County, Indiana, next door to John Rivir, with children Elizabeth (age 16), Mary Ann (age 13), David (age 9), Christian (age 5), Nancy Ann (age 3 months). [1]

1860 Jacob Stoner (age 48) and Polly (age 51) lived in Green Twp, Noble County, Indiana with children David (age 20), Christian (age 16), Nancy A (age 10), Ellen (age 6) and grand-children Alta James (age 6 female) and Jacob Bethel (age 2 male) near John Rivir. The grand-children could be daughter Elizabeth's orphan children (see 1870 census)[2]

1869 William Skeels and Nancy Ann Stoner were married on August 26 in Noble County, Indiana. Peter Winebrenner was the officiator. The license was issued on August 25, 1869. [3]

1870 Wm Skeels (age 21) lived with William Skeels (age 65) and Susan Skeels (age 55) in Green Twp, Noble County, Indiana. [4]

1870 Wm Skeels (age 21) and Nancy Skeels (age 20) lived in Noble Twp, Noble County, Indiana. [5]

1875 William C Skeels (age 26) and Nancy M Skeels (age 25) lived in Nelson, Cloud County, Kansas, with David A Skeels (age 5) and George Skeels (age 1); both male. [6]

1880 Nancy A. Skuls (age 30, born in Missouri, married), wife, lived in Concordia, Cloud County, Kansas, in a household with William Skuls (age 30), carpenter, David A. Skuls (age 9), and Georgia Skuls (age 6). Nancy A. Skuls's parents were both born in Pennsylvania. William's parents were born in Missouri and Virginia. [7]

1885 William C Skeels (age 36) was a farmer in Clyde, Clay, Kansas. Nancy A Skeels (age 34), David A Skeels (age 14 born Indiana), and George C Skeels (age 11 born in Kansas) both male, lived in the household. [8]

1911-1912 Nancy A Skeels (wid W C) was listed in the El Paso, Texas directory. [9] [10]

1917 Nancy A Skeels (wid W C) and David A Skeels were listed in the El Paso, Texas directory at 110 Mason Hill Box 1056. [11]

1918 Nancy A. Skeelz, daughter of Jacob E. Stoner and Mary Cowen, died at age 68, in Bisbee, Cochise County, Arizona. [12]

1918 Nancy Ann Skeels (1850-1918) reportedly died. A memorial stone for her is at the Evergreen Cemetery, Bisbee, Cochise County, Arizona. [13]

1957 Son David A Skeels (1870-1957) died on December 4 and was buried at the Evergreen Cemetery, Bisbee, Cochise County, Arizona. [14]

1920 William C Skeels (age 70, born in Indiana, widowed) lived in Oklahoma City Ward 4, Oklahoma County, Oklahoma. William C Skeels's father was born in Maryland and his mother was born in Ohio. William C Skeels could read and write. William C Skeels's occupation was carpenter, House. [15]

1930 William C Skeels (widowed age 77) born in Indiana, lived in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma with son [sic] Morris Y Skeels (age 27, born Indiana). [16]
