Caleb Smith (1739-1813) served as sergeant at the Lexington Alarm and as lieutenant in the Burgoyne campaign under Capt. John Oliver, Col. Nathan Sparhawk's regiment. He was born in Athol, Mass.; died in Orwell, Vt.

Ephraim Parker (1725-1800) responded to the Lexington Alarm from Norfolk, Conn., in Capt. Timothy Gaylord's company, Connecticut militia. He was born in Wallingford, Conn.; died in New York.
