John Lewis Singleton WALHALLA, June 9 John Lewis Singleton, 67, of Cheokoloskee. Fla.. and Highlands, N. C, and formerly : of Walhalla, died at Anderson Memorial Hospital today at 1 p. m.

Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Emma Good Singleton; one daughter, Mrs. T. E. Grinslade of Newahitchka, Fla.; four sons, J. W. Singleton of Everglades, Fla.; Cleon Singleton of Fort Myers, Fla.; J. I. Singleton of Miami. Fla., and Ray Singleton of East Fort Myers, Fla., and eight grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at Rocky Knoll Baptist Church near Walhalla Thursday at 3:30 p. m. by the Rev. Paul Haves. Burial will be tn the church cemetery. Pallbearers will be H. C. Cushman, Clifton McCall. Harley Morton, Sidney Blancliett, R. L. Morton and Charlie Thompson. The body is at the Ansel Funeral Home.

1959 Emma Good Singleton died on July 8 and was buried at Pleasant Rest Cemetery, Wewahitchka, Gulf County, Florida. [18] [19] [20]

1991 Son James W Singleton died on August 23 and was buried at Empire Cemetery, Mascotte, Lake County, Florida. James W Singleton was born on August 23, 1901. [21]
