1622 Simon Howland, son of Henry Howland of Fenny Stanton, was apprenticed to his brother Humphrey Howland of the Drapers' Company of London. [2]
1629 Simon Howland was made free in the Drapers' Company of Lonon on 24 March 1629. [3]
1646 Simon's brother Humphrey Howland did not mention Simon in his will, written on 28 May 1646, but made bequests to a nephew Simon and niece Hanna, "I give unto my nephew Simon Howland five pounds to be paid unto him at his age of one and twenty yeares. And I give unto his sister my niece Hanna Howland five pounds to be paid unto her at her age of one and twenty yeares or day of marriage first happening." [4] [5]
