The funeral was held Sunday afternoon at Elkhart the interment being made at Goshen. Mr and Mrs. Enos Newcomer and Mr and Mrs John Sloat and families attended from Nappanee. Deceased was a member of Nappanee lodge Knights of Pythias.

The daughter Marjorie has been a student in the schools and is a junior in the high school, having just completed the first semester of her junior year.
Mrs. Doering and daughter have had apartments at the home of Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Wells on West Adams street.
They are returning to their furnished home in Elkhart, which has been leased during their residence in Tipton and the daughter will complete her high school work in the Elkhart school. Mrs. Doering will go to Elkhart-Tuesday and the daughter Saturday.

Those present .were Mrs. Beaumont and the Misses Marjorle Doering, Louise Thompson, Jewel Adair, Belle Jean Vandevender, Nedra Shaw, Margaret Martin, Juanita McNew, Grace Campbell, Hester Utterback, Roberta Ulrich, and Daurice Oglebay. Miss Doering and her mother are leaving Tipton to make their future home in Elkhart.
