1840 Jacob Chronister lived in Latimore Twp, Adams County, Pennsylvania in a household with males: 1 (under 5), 1 (10 thru 14), and 1 (30 thru 39); and females: 1 (under 5) and 1 (30 thru 39). [1]

1850 Jacob L Chronister (age 41) lived in Latimore Twp, Adams County, Pennsylvania, in a household with Harriet Chronister (age 41), Elizabeth Chronister (age 12), John Chronister (age 11), Sarah Chronister (age 9), Samuel Chronister (age 8), Mary Chronister (age 5), and Christina Chronister (age 3). [2]

1855 A registrar's notice of 17 March was posted announcing Jacob L, David, and John Chronister as executors of the last will and testament of John Chronister, deceased. [3]

1860 J L Chronister (age 50, born in Pennsylvania) lived in Latimore Twp, Adams County, Pennsylvania, in a household with Harriet Chronister (age 52), Jno Chronister (age 22), Sarah Chronister (age 19), Saml Chronister (age 18), Mary Chronister (age 15), and Christa Chronister (age 11). [4]

1867 A registrar's notice was posted announcing "The first and final account of Harriet Chronister, trustee for the sale of the real estate of Jacob Chronister, late of latimore Twp, dec'd. [5] [6]

1870 Harriet Chronister (age 59, born in Pennsylvania) lived in Reading Twp, Adams County, Pennsylvania, in a household with David Howard (age 33), Mary Howard (age 25), Charlie Howard (age 3), Sarah Chronister (age 27), Anna Chronister (age 21), John Chronister (age 31), and Alice Chronister (age 2). Harriet Chronister's occupation was retired housekeeper. [7]

1872 Harriet and her children moved to Kansas with son-in-law David Wesley Howard.

1884 Harriet Smith Chronister died on Aug. 10, 1884 and was buried at Union Cemetery, Buckeye, Dickinson County, Kansas. Harriet Smith Chronister was born Jul. 6, 1809. [8]

Harriet was buried near CM Brenizer (Charles Milton was John Leonard Brenizer's son) and daughter Sarah, and son John Chronister in the Buckeye Union Cemetery in Dickinson Co. Kansas.
