1805 John B. Good, son of John Good and Elizabeth Mosser, was born on January 22. [1]

1808 Anna Good, daughter of Jacob Good and Elizabeth Bowman, was born on November 14. [2]

John B. Good [3] and Anna Good [4] were married.

1830 John Good Junior lived in Brecknock Twp, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania in a household with males: 2 (20 thru 29); and females: 1 (5 thru 9) and 1 (20 thru 29). Evan Griffith was listed nearby. [5]

1840 John Good (age 30-40), miller, lived in Brecknock Twp, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania with Males: one (age 5-10) and one (age 15-20); and Females: one (age 5-10) and one (age 30-40). Evan Griffith was listed nearby. [6] [7]

1850 John Good (age 45), miller, lived with Nancy (age 41) in Brecknock Twp, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania with Elizabeth (age 18), Ephraim (age 15), and Nathan (age 2). [8] [9] [10]

1851 On 7 March, miller John and wife Nancy Good of Brecknock Twp, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania sold the family mills and water rights to Henry von Nieder and Samuel Grill, both of Cumru Twp, for $6000, subject to the dower rights of Barbara Good [perhaps John's sister?]. John Good inherited the mill from father Jacob Good, as stated in his 1830 will, executed by son John Good and son-in-law Daniel Bowman. Signed by John Good, miller and Anna Guth. [11]

1860 John Good (age 55) and Nancy (age 51) lived in Caernarvon Twp, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania with Ephraim (age 26) and Nathan (age 12). John was a farmer. [12] [13]

1861 On 22 October, Anna Good, daughter of Jacob Good and wife of John Good, miller received her share of the estate of her uncle Samuel Good. She signed her name as Anna Good.

1861 Ephraim Good, son of John and Anna Good, died on April 3, at age 26y 7m 25d, and was buried at Lichty Cemetery, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. [14] [15]

1864 Anna, wife of John Good, died on April 15 and was buried at Lichty Cemetery, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. She was born on November 14, 1809. [16] [17] [18]

1865 Nathan Good, son of John and Anna Good, died on September 22, at age 15y 7m 7d, and was buried at Lichty Cemetery, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. [19] [20]

John Good married Leah Musser. [21] [22]

1870 John Good (age 65) and Leah (age 39) lived in Caernarvon Twp, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. John was a farmer. [23] [24]

1880 John Good (age 75, born in Pennsylvania, married) lived in Caernarvon Twp, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, in a household with Leah Good (age 49). John Good's parents were both born in Pennsylvania. John Good's occupation was retired farmer. [25] [26]

1890 Documents from the probate records of sister Lydia Huber and Christian Huber named collateral heirs of both Christian Huber and Lydia Huber. [27] The account of the estate of Lydia Huber named Lydia's brothers and sisters and their heirs. Dated April 29. [28] The heirs of Lydia Huber included Anna Good wife of John Good (miller) dec'd and one child Elizabeth Horst.

1891 John Good died on June 2 and was buried at Lichty Cemetery, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. [29] [30]

1891 An obituary for John Good reported [31]:

On the 2d of June 1891, in Caernarvon Twp., Lancaster Co., Pa., John Good, aged 86 years, 4 months and 10 days. He was a faithful member of the Mennonite church for a number of years. He was buried June 5th in the Zimmerman graveyard. Services were held in the Smoketown Mennonite meetinghouse, conducted by John M. Zimmerman and Benj. Horning, from 1 John 3: 2.

1891 An obituary for John Good reported [32]:

John Good of Caernarvon township, one of the oldest men in this section, died at his home on Wednesday morning aged 86 years. His funeral was held yesterday at the new Caernarvon meeting house. Interment at Zimmerman's grave yard. Mr. Good was for man years a member of the Mennonite church. He leaves a widow and one daughter, Lizzie, who is married to Mr. Isaac Horst of East Earl.

1910 Leah Musser Good died on Jun. 21, 1910 and was buried at Bowmansville Mennonite Cemetery, Bowmansville, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. Leah Musser Good was born May 2, 1831. [33]

What was the name of John Good's first wife? She was named Nancy in census records dated 1850-1860? She was named Nancy and signed her name as Anna Guth in an 1851 deed. She was named Anna in the 1861 will of her father. She was named Mary on the death certificate of daughter Elizabeth?
