1712 John Bullock was born on July 8. [1] [2]

1737 John Taylor and Lydia Wright were married on February 16, 1736/37, at Springfield Twp, Burlington County. Witnessed by Margaret Wright and others. [3]

1743 On 7 February, John Bullock and Margaret Wright declared, for the first time, their intentions to marry at the Chesterfield Meeting. [4]

1743 On May 5, John Bullock and Margaret Wright declared, for the second time, their intentions to marry at the Chesterfield Meeting. [5]

1743 John Bullock, son of John Bullock and Susannah (Wright) Parrot, married Margaret Wright. [6] [7] [8] [9]

1745 John Bullock, perhaps this one, was a freeholder in New Hanover Twp, Burlington County, New Jersey. Dated April 15. [10]

1761 John Bullock and Mahlon Wright were appointed by the Chesterfield Meeting to prepare testimony against Elizabeth Fowler for marrying a man not of our (Quaker) society. Dated On 6 of month 3. [11]

1762 John Bullock (Son-in-law of Thomas Wright) was named as executor of the will of Thomas Wright, father of Margaret Wright Bullock. [12]

1764 John Bullock, perhaps this one, made the inventory for the estate of Abraham Brown of Chesterfield Twp, Burlington County, New Jersey. [13]

1765 John Bullock of New Hanover Twp, Burlington County sold land to his brother Joseph Bullock. The tract was "part of a tract of land that our Grandfather Thomas Wright gave to our mother Susanna Bullock …". The tract was adjacent to "the tract of land that our father & mother conveyed to our brother William". Deed witnessed by Thomas Thorn and John Wright and dated October 30, 1765. [14]

1776 John Bullock, perhaps this one, was named to determine if it was appropriate to use the Friends Meeting House in Trenton for quartering soldiers. [15]

1778 John Abbott and Susannah Bullock of New Hanover Twp, daughter of Joseph and Elizabeth, married at Upper Freehold meeting 17th, 9th month, 1778. Witnesses John (not Margaret) Bullock and others. [16]

1785 Sarah, the second wife of John Bullock, died on 19 June 19. [17] [18]

1804 The will of John Bullock, of Hanover Twp, Burlington County, New Jersey, dated 9th day, 4th month, 1795, named sons Isaac and Amos, daughter Margaret Bispham, and the children of son Thomas. Witnessed by Thomas Harrison, John Phares, and Hezekiah Fowler. Son, Isaac Bullock, executor, affirmed the will on the probate date, 22 May, 1804, at Mount Holly. [19]

1804 John Bullock died on February 5. He was to be buried at Arneytown, and was reported to be age upwards of 91 years. [20] [21] [22] [23] [24] [25] [26] [27]

Mr. Bullock traces descent to an English ancestor, John Bullock, of Hull, who prior to 1710 came to the American colonies, settling in Burlington county. New Jersey. He married a second wife, and in 1710 is recorded as a beneficiary of his father-in-law's estate. The line of descent from John and Sarah (Harrison) Bullock is through their son, Isaac Bullock, and his wife, Elizabeth Rockhill; their son, Edward Bullock, and his wife, Hannah Lanning; their son, Joshua Bullock, and his wife, Mary Lippincott; their son, Edward L. Bullock, of Hazleton, Pennsylvania.
