c 1777-1784 Susannah Greenawalt was born. [1] US census ages of wife of Henry Shoaf suggest birth between 1780-1784.

1799 Henry Shoaf and Susannah [Catharine] Greenawalt were married [2] at the Trinity Lutheran Church in Lancaster, in August, 1799.

1799 Hen Shopf was on the direct tax list in Manor Twp, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. [3] [4] Henry Shoph was the owner of three lots, occupied by himself, John Shoph, and Christian Stoner. [5] [6]

1800 Henry Shop, George Albert, Abram Greenewalt and Abram Greenewalt Junr were listed on the Pennsylvania septennial census for Manor Twp, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. [7]

1800 Henry Shoph lived in North Huntingdon Twp, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania in a household with males: 1 (under 10) and 1 (26 thru 44); and females: 1 (16 thru 25). [8]

1805 Henry Shoaf purchased a tract of 127 acres in Sewickley Twp, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania from John Brenneman.

1808 Susannah, wife of Henry Shoff, was named as a daughter in the will of Abraham Greenawalt dated 1808. [9] [Photocopy]

1810 Henry Schauff lived in North Huntingdon, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania in a household with males: 3 (under 10) and 1 (26 thru 44); and females: 2 (under 10) and 1 (26 thru 44). [10] Other listings on the same page named Christian Greenawalt and Jacob Greenawalt.

1815 The will of Abraham Greenawalt of Manor Twp, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania named daughter Susanna the wife of Henry Shoff, among other children. [11] [12]

1830 Henry Shoaf Senr lived in North Huntingdon Twp, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania in a household with males: 1 (5 thru 9), 1 (20 thru 29), and 1 (60 thru 69); and females: 2 (10 thru 14), 1 (15 thru 19), 1 (20 thru 29), and 1 (40 thru 49). [13]

1836 Henry Shoaf executed a deed without naming a wife.

1840 Henry Shoef lived in Sewickley Twp, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania in a household with males: 1 (10 thru 14) and 1 (70 thru 79); and females: 2 (20 thru 29). [14] Henry Shoeff Junior lived in the same township.

1850 Henry Shoaf, age 83, widowed, died of palsy suddenly in April in Sewickly Twp, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. [15]

1850 The will of Henry Shoaf was dated November 13, 1845 and was proved in probate on March 9, 1850, in Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania. The will named son Jacob, son Henry, and daughters Fanny married to Benjamin Wineland, Elizabeth married to John Walter, Susanna married to Moses Ellenberger, Catharine married to Lazarus Stall, Mary Shoaf, and Magdalene Shoaf. 1850 Henry Shoaf (age 43, born in Pennsylvania) lived in Sewickley Twp, Westmoreland County, Pennsylvania, in a household with Susannah Shoaf (age 36), Susannah Shoaf (age 15), Polly Shoaf (age 16), Eliza Shoaf (age 11), Martha Shoaf (age 9), Hester Shoaf (age 8), Barbara Anne Shoaf (age 6), Catharine Shoaf (age 4), Hannah Shoaf (age 2), and William Henry Shoaf (age 1/12). [17] The adjacent listing was for Martha and Mary Shoaff (both age 36) perhaps the females living with Henry Shoaff Senior in 1840.
