Perhaps also surveyed on September 23, 1758 and on May 31, 1775, for 107 acres. York deed 2R-375, dated 1805 cites a warrant application for 200 acres dated October 16, 1765 [sic]. Research Notes:

1751 Elizabeth Kleinfeller (age 19) arrived in America. [95] Was this EWlizabeth? When and where did she marry Volck?

Research ambiguity: There are listings for Jacob Bailey in both Codorus (1789-1800) and Shrewsbury (1765-1812) Townships in York County. We seek clarification about whether these documents refer to two different persons or the same person. Our goal is to provide notes for Jacob Bailey whose will was dated in 1812 in Shrewsbury Township.

1781 Jacob Bailey was taxed with 10 acres of land in Codorus Twp, York County. [96] Note that Jacob Bailey of Shrewsbury was also taxed in this year, suggesting that there were two different men named Jacob Baily in York County.

1754-59 Jacob Baehli was on the tax lists of Albany Twp, Berks County in 1754, 1758, and 1759. In 1758, he was listed as poor. Not seen.

1792 John Bailey (perhaps a son of this Jacob) and Henry Kunkel, yeomen of Shrewsbury Twp, purchased three tracts from Michael Lau, Junior, tanner, and Elizabeth his wife, of Berwick Twp. One tract adjacent to John Kleinfelter, called Sultz Dale, was surveyed on September 2, 1745. One tract, called Rybocker, was warranted on April 10, 1750, adjacent to Jacob Bailey. The third tract, called Front Run, was warranted on October 9, 1750. The fourth tract, called Stain Baugh, was warranted on March 3, 1751, adjacent to George Hornspecher and Jacob Bailey. In 1781, Philip Lau willed the tracts to his son Michael Lau. [97] [98]

1794 John Bailey and wife Margaret released to Henry Kunkel their rights to the land purchased in 1792 in an endorsement to the deed above. [99]

1756 Maria Eva Jonas, daughter of Engel and Maria Elizabeth Jonas, was born. She was baptized on January 16, 1756, with sponsors Jacob and Eva Beller, at St. Jacobs Stone Lutheran and Reformed Church, Brodbecks, Codorus Twp, York County, Pennsylvania. [100]
