1770 On 5 November, Maria Elizabeth Ruhl, daughter of Frederick and Catharine Eva Ruhl, was born. She was baptized on 23 December 1770 at Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church, York County, Pennsylvania. [1] [2]

1805 On 5 October, Christopher Greenawalt of Manchester Twp, York County, dated his will. children: Abraham, John, Frederick, Jacob, Anna Maria, and Catherine married to John Heistand. Probate 18 November, 1805. [3]

1810 Jacob Greenwalt (age 26-44) lived in Manchester, York County, Pennsylvania with 2 male and 2 female children and female (age 26-44). The adjacent listing was for Catharine Heistandt, perhaps his widowed sister. [4]

1810 On May 25, Frederick Ruhl, of Shrewsbury Twp, York County, Pennsylvania, named daughter Elizabeth, married to John Greenenwalt, in his will. [5]

"Abraham Grunewald's first son Christopher was born in Germany 1731 and died in Manchester Township York County, Pennsylvania. between 10/5/1805 the date of his will and 11/18/1805 . He married Anna Maria Elizabeth Becker in 1756. Christopher and his wife were members of the Christ Evangelical Lutheran Church of York County Pa. Christopher rendered Military service in the revolutionary war in the York County Militia as a member of the 4th class, 7th Company of Militia under Captain Jost Harbaugh . Christopher's son was John Jacob Greenawalt born 8/23/1761 in York County. John Jacob married Elizabeth Rahl and settled in Franklin County PA. John Jacob served as a drummer in the revolutionary war 1778 in the 3rd battalion Northampton County Militia under Col. Michael Probst."
