1809 Michael Klinefelter, high sheriff of York County, determined, on January 5, that the estate of George Lough, deceased, should not be partitioned. The 150 acre plantation was in Codorus Twp, adjacent to lands of Michael Lough, Andrew Lough, Hery Bear, Henry Glatfelter, and others. George Lough, eldest son petitioned to purchase the plantation at the valuation, with payments to the widow, Peter Lough, Jacob Lough, Daniel Lough, Eve spouse of George Lough, Margaret spouse of George Baker, Polly spouse of David Kleindienst, and Catharine Lough, or their guardians. [17]

1809 Daniel Low, age 14 and upwards, and Catharine Low, age 18, petitioned the Orphans Court for Andrew Kleindienst as a guardian on May 23. [18]

1809 George Lau and Daniel Diehl, administrators for the estate of John George Lau, produced an account of the estate at the York County Orphans Court on May 23. [19]

Research Notes:

No record of the daughter Magdalena Hassler has been found. It is thought she married George Lau who lived in CodorusTwp, York County. [20]

1853 Magdalena's death has been reported on February 17 in Codorus Twp, York County, Pennsylvania.
