1613 Thomas Wheeler and Ann Halsey were married on May 5 in Cranfield, Bedfordshire, England. [1] [2]

Thomas Wheeler was made a freeman 17 Apr 1636/37 in Concord, Massachusetts. He may have come to America with his wife, children, and some of his grandchildren with the Rev. John Jones' Company in the ship Defiance, which landed in New England 13 Oct 1635. He supported Rev. Jones in the time of dissention in the Concord church and removed with him to Fairfield in 1644. He settled at Pequonnock, on Uncoway Brook, where his homelot of 2 1/2 acres in Black Rock was recorded in 1649. [3]

1654 The will of Thomas Wheeler was dated 16 January 1653/54 and proved 23 August 1654. The will of Thomas' wife Ann was dated 21 August 1659 and probated 20 October 1659. [4] [5]
