1831 Daniel Chipman was drowned with son Charles in quicksand on September 13.  Silas Morse married, 3rd, Sarah Bishop, widow of Daniel Chipman.  1856 "Morse, Sarah, in her 75th yr., wd/o Silas Morse of Annapolis, d. Tues. last, at St. John, N.B. (MC [The Morning Chronicle], Thurs., 21 Aug. 1856, See Also, AR [The Arcadian Recorder], 23 Aug.; BC [The British Colonist], 23 Aug.; NS [The Nova Scotian], 25 Aug.)."  Research Notes: "Daniel Chipman, fifth son of John Chipman, was born in Cornwallis, N.S., April 21, 1782; died Sept 13, 1831. He married a daughter of Capt. Bishop of Horton, N.S."
