1831 Daniel Chipman was drowned with son Charles in quicksand on September 13. [1]
1856 Sarah (Bishop) (Chipman) Morse died on August 12 in Saint John, St. John County, New Brunswick, Canada.
New Brunswick newspapers reported,
August 15, 1856, Morning News, Saint John, "d. Tuesday, age 75, Sarah Morse widow of Silas Morse, Annapolis, N.S. Funeral Friday 3 o'clock from residence of his son in law, W.O. Smith, Esq., Germain St. (St. John)" [2]
August 16, 1856, New Brunswick Courier, Saint John, "d. Tuesday, age 75, Sarah Morse widow of Silas Morse, of Annapolis, N.S." [3].Nova Scotia newspapers reported,
"Morse, Sarah, in her 75th yr., wd/o Silas Morse of Annapolis, d. Tues. last, at St. John, N.B." (MC [The Morning Chronicle], Thurs., 21 Aug. 1856, See Also, AR [The Arcadian Recorder], 23 Aug.; BC [The British Colonist], 23 Aug.; NS [The Nova Scotian], 25 Aug.). [4]

Calnek wrote, "John (4th child and eldest surviving son of Handley) and Eunice (Dixon) Chipman had ch. ... 10, Daniel Chipman, b. April 21, 1782, m. Sarah Bishop (7 ch.)" [6]
Eaton reported in his sketch of the Bishop family [7] that the children of Capt. William Bishop were ... "Sarah, b. October 17, 1782, m. (1) to Daniel, son of John Chipman, (2) to Deacon Silas Morse, of Granville, Annapolis County, son of Abner and Anna (Church) Morse. Sarah d. Aug. 10, 1826." The death year is incorrect and should be 1856. The Tuesday preceding the newspaper death notices was the 12th of August, not August 10.
Chute reported that Deacon Silas Morse [8] married, "3rd, Sarah Bishop, widow of Daniel Chipman, and d. April 30, 1849. She d. Aug. 10, 1826, aged 53." (The death date of Sarah should be August 12, 1856.)
