1764 Abraham Furry [Forrer], farmer, dated his will on March 13, in Frederick County, now Washington County, Maryland. The will was proved on May 3, 1764. Abraham Furry left his estate to his wife Mary and left money to the daughters of his brother Jacob Furry named Mary, Elizabeth, Martha, Barbara, Agnes (oldest to youngest). He named his wife Mary and brother Henry Furry as the executors of his will. The executors were to sell his land. The witnesses to his will were Jacob Shingletaker, Michael Moyer, and Benedict Whitmore. [1]
