1884 Orien Orr Morrison was born on October 1 in Aledo, Mercer County, Illinois.

1885 Matah Luada Schaeffer was born October 16 in Maitland, Holt County, Missouri.

1908 Orr O. Morrison received a B.S. in Agriculture from Kansas State Agricultural College (later Kansas State University) [1]

1908-1910 Orr Morrison was a Live Stock Inspector, U.S. Bureau of Animal Industry. [2]

1910 Matah L. Schaeffer received B.S. in Domestic Science at Kansas State Agricultural College. [3]

1910-13 Matah Schafer taught Domestic Science and Art at the State Orphans' Home in 1910 and at Phillipsburg High School 1911-13. [4]

1910-13 Orr Morrison was a salesman in the Feed and Flour Department, The Quaker Oats Company. In 1913 he joined The Albert Dickinson Company in Chicago, Illinois. [5]

1913 Matah Schaeffer and Orr Morrison were married on October 28.

1915 Son Lawrence Schaeffer Morrison was born on February 1 in Chicago, Cook County, Illinois to Orien Orr Morrison, age 30, born in Aledo, Illinois, and Matah Schaeffer, age 29, born in Maitland, Missouri. [6]

1920 On January 2, Orr O. Morrison (age 35), his wife Matah (age 34), and son Lawrence S. (age 4 11/12, born in Illinois) lived on Throop Street in Chicago, Ward 32, Cook County, Illinois. Orr was an Asst. Manager in a Feed Co. He was born in Illinois as were his parents. Matah was born in Missouri. Her father was born in France and her mother in Germany. [7]

1922 Orr Morrison died in an automobile accident on July 10. An obituary appeard in the Chicago Daily Tribune the next day, "Death Notices. Morrison - Orr O. Morrison, suddenly, July 10, 1922, beloved husband of Matah Schaeffer Morrison, father of Lawrence and Stanley, son of W.A. and Mary Morrison. Remains at chapel, 912 Madison st., until 2 p.m. Wednesday. Services at graveside at Oakwoods cemetery at 3 p.m., under auspices of Englewood lodge, No. 960, A.F. & A.M." [8]

1924 Son Stanley Leray Morrison, age 2, died on February 8 in Homewood, Illinois. [9]

1930 On April 4, Matah (spelled Matha) Morrison (age 43, born in Missouri), widow and her son Lawrence (age 15, born in Illinois) lived at 18103 Riegle Rd in Homewood, Cook County, Illinois. Matah's father was born in France and her mother in Germany. Lawrence's father was born in Illinois. Their home value was $7500 and they had a radio set. [10]

1940 On April 18, Matah Morrison (age 54, born in Missouri) and her son Lawrence S. (age 25, born in Illinois) lived at 18103 Riegel Road in Homewood, Illinois. Matah was a Practical nurse with a private family, and Lawrence was a Steward in a fraternity house. Matah had completed 4 years of college and Lawrende had completed 3 years of college. [11]

1940 On June 9, the upcoming graduation of Lawrence S. Morrison from the University of Illinois was announced in the Chicago Tribune. "123 Southwest Siders qualify for U.I. Degrees. Commencement program will be tomorrow. When the 69th annual commencement of the University of Illinois takes place tomorrow morning, in George Huff gymnasium in Champagne, 123 of the 2,600 candidates for degrees will be from Chicago's southwest side and suburbs. ... Unless otherwise designated, the degrees are bachelor's. ... Homewood: Lawrence S. Morrison." [12]

1966 April "Employers Assign Five to Position. Five west are residents were recently named to new positions of responsibility by their employers, it has been announced by company officials. Lawrence S. Morrison, 116 N. Charlotte st., Lombard, has joined the staff of Scripture Press publication, 1825 College av., Wheaton, as assistant to the president. He is a graduate of the University of Illinois. Morrison, married and the father of a son, was formerly associated with the Evangelical Child Welfare agency, 127 N. Dearborn st." [13]

1966 Matah Morrison died in June. Her last residence was Homewood, Cook County, Illinois. She was born on October 16, 1885. [14]

1975 Lawrence Morrison died on October 21 in Royal Oak, Michigan. He was born on February 1, 1915. [15] [16]
