1850 Mary Ann Dommoyer (age 14, born in Pennsylvania) lived in Elizabeth Twp, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, in a household with Mary Dommoyer (age 35), Edward Dommoyer (age 12), Henry Dommoyer (age 10), Benjamin Dommoyer (age 8), Abraham Dommoyer (age 5), James Dommoyer (age 3), and John Dommoyer (age 0). [4]

1850 Jacob B Good (age 33, born in Pennsylvania), carpenter, lived in Brecknock Twp, Berks County, Pennsylvania, in a household with Christian Hoover (age 49), Lidia Hoover (age 40), and Elisabeth Good (age 65). [5]

1860 Jacob Good (age 42, born in Pennsylvania) lived in Brecknock Twp, Berks County, Pennsylvania, in a household with Lydia Hoover (age 50), widow, Mary A Dunhower (age 23), house maid, and Elizabeth Good (age 75). [6] [7]

1861 On 2 July, John B Good, administrator, filed his account on the estate of Samuel Good showing a balance of $4429.12. Samuel's brother John Good of Canada was an heir, as described below. The seven sons and daughters of Samuel's brother, Jacob Good of Brecknock Twp deceased, were also heirs to Samuel's estate. These five were present at the accounting and received their share of $316.36: Anna Good wife of John Good (miller), Lydia Huber widow, Elizabeth Mosser wife of Benjamin Mosser, Jacob B Good, Sarah Mosser wife of Peter Mosser. [8]

1861 On 22 October, Jacob B Good, son of Jacob Good, received his share of the estate of his uncle Samuel Good. He signed his name as Jacob B Good.

1867 Jacob B and Mary Ann Donehower Good were the parents of Elizabeth Good, wife of Samuel Gehman. [10]

1869 Jacob B. Good was listed as a laborer in Millersville, Manor Twp, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. [11]

1869 Jacob B. Good was listed under Grist and Merchant Mills on Willow Street, Pequea Twp, Lancaster County, in a Lancaster directory. [12]

1870 Jacob Good (age 53, born in Pennsylvania) lived in Brecknock Twp, Berks County, Pennsylvania, in a household with Mary Good (age 33), Elizabeth Good (age 3), Louisa Ziemer (age 13), and Lydia Huber (age 60). Jacob Good's occupation was farmer. [13] [14]

1877 The will of Jacob B. Good of Brecknock Twp was dated on March 1 in Berks County, Pennsylvania. The will named wife Mary Ann and mentioned a daughter under age 21. Nephew Samuel Musser was named executor. The will was proved on June 4, 1879. [15] Estate records were recorded. [16]

1879 Jacob Good and wife Mary Ann Good of Brecknock Twp, Berks County sold land to Moses Horning of Brecknock Twp, Lancaster County. The land was in Lancaster County at Blue Ball, Plow tavern, land of Richard Beam, land of Catherine Storer, land of Isaac G Weaver, and land of John M Good. [17]

1879 Jacob B. Good died on May 19 and was buried at Allegheny Mennonite Cemetery, Alleghenyville, Berks County, Pennsylvania. Jacob B. Good was born on September 10, 1817. [18] [19] [20]

1880 Mary Good (age 43) and daughter Elizabeth (age 13) and widowed sister-in-law Lydia Hoover (age 69) lived in Brecknock Twp, Berks County, Pennsylvania. [21] [22]

1886 Elizabeth D. Good, age 19, and Samuel B. Gehman were married on October 19 in Reading, Berks County, Pennsylvania. Elizabeth D. Good, daughter of Mary Ann Good, was born about 1867. [23]

1890 Documents from the probate records of sister Lydia Huber and Christian Huber named collateral heirs of both Christian Huber and Lydia Huber. [24] The account of the estate of Lydia Huber named Lydia's brothers and sisters and their heirs. Dated April 29. [25] The heirs of Lydia Huber included Jacob Good dec'd a brother of Lydia Huber dec'd who left Mary Ann Good, widow of Jacob Good and one child Lizzie Gehman wife of Samuel Gehman.

1900 Maryan Good (born in Pennsylvania in Jul 1837, widowed) lived in Brecknock Twp, Berks County, Pennsylvania, in a household with Samuel Gehman (age 39), Elizebeth Gehman (age 32), and Edwin Gehman (age 11). Maryan Good's parents were both born in Pennsylvania. Maryan Good had had 1 child, 1 still living. [26]

1910 Mary Ann Good (age 72, born in Pennsylvania, widowed, married 42 years ago), mother-in-law, lived in Brecknock Twp, Berks County, Pennsylvania, in a household with Samuel B Gelman (age 49), Elizabeth Gehman (age 42), Edwin Gehman (age 21), Mere Gehman (age 5), Samuel Gelman (age 3), Rudolph Steffy (age 61), and Amelia Nagie (age 50). Mary Ann Good's parents were both born in Pennsylvania. Mary Ann Good could read but could not write. Her native language was German. Mary Ann Good had her own income. [27]

1914 Mary A. Good, born on July 30, 1837, died on July 20 and was buried at Allegheny Mennonite Cemetery, Alleghenyville, Berks County, Pennsylvania. [28]

1914 An obituary for Mary Ann Good reported [29]:

Good.--Mary Ann, widow of Jacob B. Good, was born July 31, 1837; died in Allegheny, Berks County, Pennsylvania., July 29, 1914; aged 76 y. 11 m. 29 d. Buried at the Allegheny Mennonite Church. Her husband preceded her 35 years ago. Her sickness was infirmities of old age, but was rather sudden. One daughter survives her. She was a member of the Wisler branch. Services by John Kurtz and John W. Weaver from Rom. 14:7,8. Peace to her ashes.

Jacob B Good, born 10 September, 1817 and died 10 September 1879, and Mary Ann Donehower were named as the parents of Mrs. Elizabeth Good Gehman. [30]

1949 Elizabeth Pawling, daughter of Jacob B Good and Mary Ann Donahower, spouse of George Pawling, died, at age 82 on October 16, 1949, in Reading Twp, Berks County, Pennsylvania. Elizabeth Pawling was born on June 1, 1867, in Berks County, Pennsylvania. [31]
