1800 Christian Huber was born on September 1, in Pennsylvania. [1] [2]

1810 Lydia Good was born on November 10, in Pennsylvania. [3] [4]

1830 Christian Huber lived in Brecknock Twp, Berks County, Pennsylvania in a household with males: 1 (20 thru 29); and females: 1 (5 thru 9) and 1 (15 thru 19). Nearby istings included Adam and George Ludwig, also neighbors in the 1840 census. [5]

1830 Christian Huber/Hoover purchased five tracts of land from Daniel Gehman. The tracts were in Brecknock Twp, formerly Cumru Twp, Berks County, Pennsylvania. One tract was adjacent to lands of Christian Bowman, Joseph Horning, Samuel Horning, Abraham Bowman, Martin Eshleman, and Daniel Berlet. The second tract was adjacent to lands of Jacob Remp, Frederick Remp, George Colers, Wendel Bowman. It being the same tract of land that Samuel Gehman and Veronica his wife, Susanna Bowman, Rachel Bowman, Samuel Bowman, Henry Bowman, John Bowman and Elizabeth Bowman children heirs and representatives of Martin Bowman late of then Cumru now Brecknock Twp, Berks County had sold to Daniel Gehman on April 7, 1807. [6] The Bowman heirs were perhaps children of Martin Bowman. [7]

1840 Christian Huber lived in Brecknock Twp, Berks County, Pennsylvania in a household with males: 1 (40 thru 49); and females: 1 (15 thru 19) and 1 (30 thru 39). [8]

1844 The will of Christian Huber was dated on October 25. It was written in German and was recorded in Berks County, Pennsylvania. Perhaps dated in October 1844. [9] [10] [11]

1850 Christian Hoover (age 49), farmer, and Lydia Hoover (age 40, born Pennsylvania) lived in Brecknock Twp, Berks County, Pennsylvania. The census was dated Aug 16, the day after Christian's death. Lydia's brother Jacob B and mother Elizabeth Good (age 65) lived with them. [12] [13] [14] [15]

1850 Christian Huber died on August 14, at age 49 years 11 months & 14 days, and was buried at Allegheny Mennonite Cemetery, Alleghenyville, Berks County, Pennsylvania. [16] [17]

1850 Letters of administration for the estate of Christian Huber were granted on September 18 to Lydia Huber and Benjamin Bowman.

1850 The probate records of Christian Huber were recorded in Berks County. Sarah and Elizabeth Musser [perhaps sisters of Lydia] and Esther Gehman [perhaps a niece of Christian] signed documents releasing their right of administration. The inventory included a bible and other books. [18] The documents named heirs of both Christian Huber and Lydia (Good) Huber. A translation of the will of Christian Huber clarifies that his named heirs were all children and grand-children of his sister Anna. [19] [20] [21] [22]

Sir: We, Sarah Musser and Elizabeth Musser, heirs, legatees, and representatives of Christian Huber and Lydia Huber, late of Brecknock township, said county, deceased, do hereby renounce all our right to letters of administration upon the estate or estates of said deceased, and desire that the same may be granted to Samuel Gehman of said township [Berks County] and F.S. Stover of Brecknock township, Lancaster County. … Witnessed by Israel G. Musser

1890 A document dated June 2, 1890 [after the death of Lydia], named collateral heirs of both Christian Huber and Lydia Huber. The heirs of Lydia Huber are listed below:

The decedent died testate of the 15th day of August A.D. 1850 leaving to survive him a widow but no issue, but collateral heirs. The said widow died intestate on the 15th day of Sept. 1889.

1860 Elizabeth Good (age 75) lived in the household of her son Jacob B Good (age 52) and widowed daughter Lydia Hoover (age 50) in Brecknock Twp, Berks County, Pennsylvania. Mary A Dunhauer (age 23), house maid, lived with them. [23] [24]

1861 Widow Lydia Huber, daughter of Jacob Good, received her share of the estate of her uncle Samuel Good on October 22. She signed her name as Lydia Huber. [25] [26]

1870 Lydia Huber (age 60) was widowed and lived with brother Jacob (age 53) and Mary (age 33) Good in Brecknock Twp, Berks County, Pennsylvania. [27] [28]

1880 Lydia Hoover (widow, age 69) lived with widowed sister-in-law Mary Ann [Donnenauer] Good (age 42) in Brecknock Twp, Berks County, Pennsylvania. [29] [30]

1889 Lydia (Good) Huber died on September 15. [31]

1889 The estate of Lydia Huber was administered on September 20, in Brecknock Twp, Berks County, Pennsylvania by Samuel Gehman. [32]

1890 The account of the estate of Lydia Huber named the heirs of Lydia's brothers and sisters. Dated April 29. [33]
