1908 Verda Nora Rivir, child of Orvin Rivir and Cleora Brown, was born on March 21, 1908 in Richland Twp, Grant County, Indiana. (Birth certificate: 14282). [2]

1910 Verda Rivers (age 2, born in Indiana, single), daughter, lived in Richland, Grant County, Indiana, in a household with Orvin Rivirs (age 29), Cleora Rivers (age 25), and Lowell Rivers (age 3). Verda Rivers's parents were both born in Indiana. [3]

1920 Verda N Rivir (age 11, born in Indiana, single), daughter, lived in Liberty Twp, Wabash County, Indiana, in a household with Oren H Rivir (age 39), Cleoria E Rivir (age 35), and Lowell T Rivir (age 13). Verda N Rivir's parents were both born in Indiana. Verda N Rivir could read and write. [4]

1929 [Phil] Omer Easteridge graduated from Indiana Central College [now University of Indianapolis] in 1929. [5]

1930 Verda N Rivir graduated from Indiana Central College (now University of Indianapolis) with a Bachelor of Arts degree, in 1930. [6]

1934 Raymond Wayne Eastridge, son of Omer Easteridge and Verda Rivir, was born on August 28, 1934 in Noble, Wabash County, Indiana. Omer's occupation was salesman for Jewel Tea Company. [7] [8] [9]

1938 Donald Lee Eastridge, son of Omer W. Eastridge and Verda Nova River, was born on November 23, 1938, in Wabash, Wabash County, Indiana. Omer was a salesman at a grocery company. [10] [11] [12]

1940 Homer W Eastridge (age 32, born in Indiana, married) lived in Lebanon Twp, Boone County, Indiana, in a household with Verda Eastridge (age 32), Raymond W Eastridge (age 5), and Donald S Eastridge (age 1). Homer W Eastridge's occupation was salesman. The highest grade of school he had completed was College, 5th or subsequent year. [13] [14]

1940 Omer William Eastridge registered for the draft and reported the following. He was born on December 12, 1906 in Crawford County, Indiana. He was employed by Lloyd Hopkins. He had blue eyes and brown hair and was 5 feet 9 inches tall. His wife was Verda Nova Eastridge. [15] [16]

1950 Verda N Eastridge (age 42, born in Indiana, married), wife, lived in Washington Twp, Hamilton County, Indiana, in a household with Omer Eastridge (age 43), Raymond W Eastridge (age 15), and Donald L Eastridge (age 11). [17] [18]

Omer taught Spanish and Verda Eastridge taught home economics at Westfield High School outside of Indianapolis, Indiana. Verda was a 4-H leader for many years.

1982 Omer Eastridge, married, spouse of Verda N. Eastridge, died on February 4, at age 75, in Indianapolis, Marion County, Indiana. He was born on December 12, 1906, in Indiana, son of John Eastridge. He was a high school teacher. He lived at 613 South Union Street, Westfield, Indiana. [20] [21]

1982 Omer Eastridge died on February 4, 1982, and was buried at Summit Lawn Cemetery, Westfield, Hamilton County, Indiana. [22]

2003 Verda Eastridge died on April 26, 2003 in Kentucky, and was buried at Summit Lawn Cemetery, Westfield, Hamilton County, Indiana. [23] [24] [25] [26]

Verda Eastridge Madisonville, Ky. - Verda Eastridge, 95, of Madisonville, died 10:20 a.m. Saturday, April 26, 2003, at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville. . She was born March 21, 1907, in Grant County, Ind., to the late Orvin Henry Rivir and Cleora Ellen Brown Rivir. She was a member of Westfield jjnited Methodist Church in Westfield, Ind., and attended Grapevine Christian Church in Madisonville. She retired in 1970 after teaching for 33 years, 25 years of which she spent at Westfield High School where $he taught home economics. She was a 4-H leader for 25 years in Indiana. She was a member of the National Retired Teachers Association, Indiana State Teachers Association and Kentucky-Hopkins County Teachers Association. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Omer Eastridge, in 1982; and one brother. She is survived by two sons, Wayne Eastridge of Madisonville, and Don Eastridge of Boston, Mass.; one brother, Morris Rivir of Huntington, Ind.; five grandchildren; and 12 greatgrandchildren. Funeral services will be held 7 p.m. Tuesday at Barnett-Strother Funeral Home in Madisonville. Graveside services will be held 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Summit Lawn in Westfield. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until service time Tuesday at Bamett-Strother Funeral Home and from 1 until 3 p.m. Wednesday at McMullan Funeral Home in Westfield. Memorial contributions may take the form of donations to Grapevine Christian Church, 2205 Grapevine Rd., Madisonville, Ky. 42431.
