"Christopher Billing/s married Joan Cobrow 1 Oct 1665 at St. John Stanton, Oxon. He died 1723, she 1733, they had ten children in all.
Unfortunately Xopher Billing must have been born cir.1641 and England was in the grip of civil war with many registers having gaps at this date. To date I've no candidate of a father of him." [14]
In the church of SS Peter and Paul, Church Street, Deddington, Cherwell, Oxfordshire, "Monuments include ... a small panelled chest tomb with indented reredos and a fragment of the brass inscription to William Billing (d.1533)." [15]
