1779 Christian Bixler, with no land, was taxed £154.8.0 in Manchester Twp, York County, Pennsylvania. Joseph and John Bixler, perhaps his sons, were also taxed. [8] Jacob Bixler was taxed as a single man. [9]

1780 Jacob Strickler and Christian Bixler produced the account for Christian Bixler with balance £2,767.6.7. This was distributed to John Bixler (oldest son), Christian Bixler, Joseph Bixler, Jacob Bixler, Michael Bixler, Jacob Strickler and wife Anna, Conrad Strickler and Christina, Valentine Shockey and Barbara, Ulrich Elliberger and Veronica, Peter Elleberger and Eve, Jacob Road and Mary, Ulrich Engel and Magdalena, and Catharine Bixler. The will listed ten children: Christian, Jacob, Joseph, Michael, John, Conrad, Magdalena m. Peter Waltz, Elizabeth m. John Hoover, Catharine, and Eve in his will. 1796 Magdalena Bixler and John Huber, executors of the will of Christian Bixler, late of Manchester, sold land from the estate to Michael Gingerich. The deed was dated January 15. [27]

1800 Magdalena Bixler lived in Manchester Twp, York County, Pennsylvania in a household with males: 1 (10 thru 15); and females: 1 (45 and over). [28]

1806 Madlena's will was proved on August 30, in York County. The will was written in German and the last name was spelled "Bichsler". Witnessed by Michael Gochenour and Leonard Knab? [29]

1807 Yost Herbach and Conrad Bixler, executors of the will of Magdalena Bixler, deceased, presented an account with balance £505.3.11. The inventory was dated September 16, at the York County Orphans' Court. [30]
