1722 Robert Field married Mary Taylor, daughter of Samuel Taylor, on April 12, at Chesterfield Meeting, Burlington County, New Jersey. Witnessed by Robert Taylor and others. [1]

1725 Avis Holloway and Samuel Schooley, both of Chesterfield, were married on May 27 at Chesterfield Twp, Burlington County, New Jersey. Witnessed by Sarah, John, William, and Robert Taylor, and others. [2] [3]

1728 Robert Taylor of Burlington County and Sarah Woodward were married on May 14. [4] [5] [6]

1729-30 Robert Taylor was a freeholder and surveyor of the highways in Chesterfield Twp, for Burlington County, New Jersey. [7]

1730 Susannah Schooley, daughter of John Schooley [and Robert's sister Frances Taylor] of Burlington, and Michael Newbold were married on 2 month, 15 day, at Springfield Twp, Burlington County. Witnessed by Robert Taylor and others. [8].

1732 Robert Taylor was surveyor of the highways in Chesterfield Twp, for Burlington County, New Jersey. [9]

1733 Robert Taylor was assessor of the poor in Chesterfield Twp, for Burlington County, New Jersey. [10]

1738 Robert Taylor was assessor in Chesterfield Twp, for Burlington County, New Jersey. [11]

1742 Robert Taylor was assessor of the poor in Chesterfield Twp, for Burlington County, New Jersey. [12]

1751 William Steward and Rebecca Taylor, daughter of Samuel and Anne Taylor, were married on 28 of month 9, at Chesterfield. Witnessed by Robert Taylor, and others. [13]

"Robert Taylor, youngest son of Samuel, was the executor of his father's will and inherited a large portion of the homestead tract, which descended to his son Anthony...and remained in the tenure of his descendants until quite recently (written 1905). The five hundred acre tract known as Brookdale farm was Robert's portion." [14] [15] Second son, Robert Taylor, inherited a 500 acre tract from his father, Samuel, known as the Brookdale farm, passed on to Anthony, and then to Robert. [16]

1755 The will of Robert Taylor, dated 30 Dec 1755 in Chesterfield, Burlington County, named Children: Anthony (sole executor), Isaac, Robert, Mary; all but Anthony under age. Granddaughter, Idaleasa Taylor. Real and personal estate. Witnesses: Preserve Brown, John Taylor, Sarah Taylor. Proved February 27, 1758. [17]

1758 An inventory of Robert Tayor's estate, dated February 3, reported value £188.1.5, incl. bills, bonds and notes, £93.3. 11; made by Joseph Reckless and William Wood. [18]
