Research Notes:

Both George A Moyer and George W Moyer were married to Mary and lived in Harrison Twp, Elkhart County, Indiana in 1860. It is sometimes difficult to determine which George Moyer is referred to in a document. We are researching George Moyer, son of John Moyer and Elizabeth Albright, named in the 1850 census, above. The 1850 census record does not report the middle initial of son George, but the age matches best with George A Moyer, whose children match with the children named in the 1910 obituary of Mary Rohrer Moyer, widow of George A Moyer. George W Moyer, married to Mary Ingle, was the son of Abraham Moyer and Mary Ingle.

Census records for George Moyer report his birth in Ohio. His death certificate reports his birth in Elkhart County, Indiana.
