c 1865 Peter M Shamory was in the 172nd Regiment, Pennsylvania Infantry, Union Army. [1]

1870 Joseph Rohrer (age 68) lived in Elkhart Indiana with wife Mary Rohrer (age 70) and Anna Rohrer (age 30, born Ohio) and Anna Myers (age 10, born Indiana). [2] [3]

1870 Peter Shamory (age 36, born in Pennsylvania) lived in Union, Snyder County, Pennsylvania, in a household with Mary Shamory (age 35), Catharine Shamory (age 10), Sarah S Shamory (age 5), and William Shamory (age 2). Peter Shamory was a laborer. [4] [5]

1880 Joseph Rohrer (age 79) lived in Harrison, Elkhart, Indiana. His wife Mary (age 80) was keeping house. Their single daughter Anna Rohrer (age 40, born in Ohio) lived with them. Living with them was Mary Bowers, a single, female, (age 18) servant, born in PA. [6]

1895 Peter Shamory and Anna Rohrer were married on August 3 at Goshen, Elkhart County, Indiana by A S Fisher. [7] [8] [9]

1900 Peter M Shamory (age 66) and Anna (age 59) lived at South Second St, Concord Twp, Elkhart County, Indiana. They had been married 4 years. Anna had had no children. [10]

1908 Mrs Annie Shamory, married, spouse of P M Shamory, died on March 3, at age 67, in Elkhart, Elkhart County, Indiana. She was born on February 15, 1840, in Stark County, Ohio, daughter of Joseh Rohrer and Maria Rohrer. [11]

1908 Annie Shamory, wife of Peter Shamory, died on March 3 and was buried at Harrison Chapel Cemetery, Goshen, Elkhart County, Indiana. She was born on October 16, 1840. [12] [13]

1910 Peter Shamory (widow, age 76, listed as father) lived on Willard St in Elkhart, Elkhart Twp, Indiana in the household of Dan Shamory (age 36) and Corra S (age 35). [14] [15]

1910 Peter Shamory died on August 1 in Elkhart County, Indiana at age 76. [16] [17]
