1734 John Derbyshire, son of John and Elinor McGregor Derbyshire, was born in Lower Makefield Twp, Bucks County, Pennsylvania.

1749 Mary Rickey, perhaps this one, signed the marriage certificate of brother John Rickey and Mary Hutchinson. [7]

1757 Ann Rickey Jr, daughter of Alexander Rickey, married Mahlon Kirkbride, son of Mahlon Kirkbride, both of Lower Makefield Twp, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, on day 30 of month 11, at the Falls Meeting. Witnessed by Alexander and Ann Rickey, Mahlon and Ann Kirkbride, Tho and Hannah Rickey, John Rickey, Mary Rickey, James Rickey, Alex Jr Rickey, Rachel Rickey, Keirll Rickey, Randle (not Catherine) Hutchinson, and many others. 1758 Mary Rickey was named as a daughter in the will of Alexander Rickey, of Lower Makefield Twp, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, dated 1 October 1758. [10] [11]

1761 "On 23 November, with a license, were married: John Derbyshire, young man with Mary Rickey, young daughter" [12] [13] [14] [15] [16] [17] 1761 John Derbyshire and Mary Rickey were married on November 23, 1761 in Reformed Dutch Church, Churchville, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. [18] [19]

1762 Daughter Sarah Derbyshire was born on April 10, 1762 in Bucks County, Pennsylvania.

1763 Hannah Rickey, daughter of [brother] Thomas Rickey of Bucks County, married Samuel White, son of Joseph White, at Falls meeting on 12 day, month 1. Witnessed by Jn Derbyshire and many others. [20]

1764 The will of uncle John Keirl [brother of mother Ann Keirl Rickey] of Bristol Twp, Bucks County, named Thomas Rickey, John Rickey, Alexander Rickey, James Rickey, Keirl Rickey, Rachel and Mary Rickey (sic, why not Derbyshire?), Catharine Hutchinson, and Ann Kirkbride as children of Alexander and Ann Rickey and as kinsmen. 1764 John Derbyshire was taxed in Lower Makefield Twp, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. [23]

1766 Son Alexander Derbyshire was born 12 March, 1766 in Lower Makefield Village, Bucks, Pennsylvania and died 24 July 1833.

1767 Mary Derbyshire of Falls Monthly Meeting, Bucks County, Pennsylvania, married contrary to Quaker discipline shortly before May 5, 1762, and was condemned therefore Jun 3, 1767. [24]

1769-1775 Mary Derbyshire was named in aunt Katharine Keirl Wilmington's will. [25]

1775 John Derbyshire was taxed in Lower Makefield Twp, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. [26]

1778 John Darbishire [Derbyshire] was taxed in Lower Makefield Twp, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. [27] [28] [29] [30]

1780 John Derbyshire [Darbyshire] was taxed in Lower Makefield Twp, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. [31]

1782 John Derbyshire [Darbyshire] was taxed in Lower Makefield Twp, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. [32] [33] [34] [35] [36]

1782 John, Ann, Thomas, & Mary ch[ildren of] Mary Derbyshire recrq Jun 5 1782, at Falls Monthly Meeting, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. This names children of Mary, who were received as members by request of a member, perhaps because Mary was no longer a member. [37]

1783 The will of Alexander Rickey of Philadelphia was dated November 20, 1783 and was proved April 10, 1784. Aunt Ann Kirkbride and uncle John Darbyshire were named executors. [38]

1783 John Derbyshire [Darbyshire] was taxed in Lower Makefield Twp, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. [39] [40]

1784 John Derbyshire [Darbyshire] was taxed in Lower Makefield Twp, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. [41]

1785 John Derbyshire was taxed in Lower Makefield Twp, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. [42] [43]

1786 John Derbyshire was taxed for 6 acres in Lower Makefield Twp, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. [44] [45] [46]

1787 John Derbyshire was taxed in Lower Makefield Twp, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. [47] [48]

1787 On 4 of month 4, John Darbyshire, was granted a certificate by the Falls meeting to the Southern District Philadelphia monthly meeting. He was placed there as an apprentice by his father. [49]

1788 John Derbyshire was taxed in Lower Makefield Twp, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. [50] [51]

1789 John Derbyshire was taxed in Lower Makefield Twp, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. [52]

1791 John Derbyshire, weaver, was taxed in Lower Makefield Twp, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. [53] [54]

1793 John Derbyshire was taxed in Lower Makefield Twp, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. [55]

1796 John Derbyshire was taxed in Lower Makefield Twp, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. [56]

1797 John Derbyshire estate was taxed in Lower Makefield Twp, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. [57]

1802 On 3 of month 11, Thomas Derbyshire was granted a certificate to Philadelphia monthly meeting. He had moved some time previously. [58]

1812 On 2 January, John Derbyshire died, at age 43, of typhus and was buried in Philadelphia. [59] [60]

before 1827 Sarah, Mary, and Ann Derbyshire were members of the Falls Meeting. [61]

1828 Mary and Sarah Derbyshire, and others, separated from the Falls and Pennsbury meeting. [62] They were dis jO (disowned for joining orthodox). [63]

1839 Mary Derbyshire died 1-7-1839 age 62. [64]

1849 Sarah Derbyshire died 9-30-1849. [65]

1866 "James A. and Hannah Derbyshire of Lawall, Franklin County, Indiana, Joel and Sarah Ann (Derbyshire) Palmer of Lamhill Co, OR, John Stockton, Steasdale[?] D. Stockton and Isabella Stockton of Bucks Co, Furman and Elizabeth S. (Stockton) Rickey of Bucks Co. give power of attorney to Daniel W. Slack of Philadelphia to sell their share of land of John Derbyshire Sen., late of Lower Makefield Twp. who died about 1796, and their share of land of John's son Alexander Derbyshire who died in 1833, and their share of land of John's grandson John Derbyshire, late of Philadelphia, who died in 1865.
