1715 Sarah Potter, spouse of Ephraim Potter, died on November 6, 1715, in Shrewsbury. [2]

Ephraim Potter married twice. His second wife was Mary (Chambers) widow of Nicholas Brown. They were married about 1716. [3] The children of Ephraim and Sarah Potter were listed in Quaker records. The list agrees with those named in the will for Ephraim, with wife Mary. [4]

1716 The will of Ephraim Potter, gentleman, date: 21 Dec 1716 at Shrewsbury, Monmouth Co. names Wife Mary. Children--Ephraim, Ann, Marcey Jackson, John (under 21), Martha, Catherine, Leah, Abraham, Preserve, Joseph (under 21), Niccolas, and expected child. Real and personal estate. Executors--Richard Chambers, John Lippincott junior and Wm., son of John Woolley. Witnesses--John Chambers, Thomas White, Abigall White, Amoss White. Proved April 15, 1717. [5]

1717 Ephraim Potter, spouse of Mary Potter, died in Shrewsbury, 11th month 1717 (not written as 1716/17, but perhaps January, 1717). [6]

171? Inventory of the personal estate of Ephraim Potter was valued at £74.9.6, incl. one silver spoon; made by Jeremiah Stillwell and Gabriel Stelle; sworn to by Richard Chambers, executor. Dated August 28, 1717. [7]
