1876 François M. Bel died on September 25 and was buried at Metairie Cemetery, New Orleans, Orleans Parish, Louisiana. His memorial inscription indicates that he was born on October 16, 1820, and that his wife Elise J. Chevalley was born on April 18, 1834, and died on July 24, 1890. [2] [3]
