1558 The will of William Soly, husbandman, was proved on June 18 in the Consistory Court of Canterbury. Hussey's abstract states, [1]

… That Ellen, Joan, Mary, and Margaret, my four daughters, each have £7 10s. at their marriage. Wife Margaret have all my growing crops and household goods, and £40. If she is with child and a son, he to have £40, but if a girl £7 10s. at marriage. Ex'or: Wife Margaret, with my brother Stephen Solley and brother-in-law Richard Omer, overseers. Witnesses: Stephen Solley, senior, Stephen Solley, junior, Richard Omer, Laurence Omer, Francis Omer, Nicholas Peak, and Roger Peak. Probate 18 June 1558 (Con. Vol. XXYII., fol. 67)

1558 "November Wyllyam Sollye was baptized xxvth" in Ash-next-Sandwich, Kent. Possibly he was the son of William and Margaret anticipated in William's will. [2]

Research Notes:

1561 "John Packman and Margaret Sollye" were married on November "xxiiij" in Ash-next-Sandwich, Kent. [3]

1583/4 "Margarett w: of John Pecknam" was "buryed xxijth" of March in Ash-next-Sandwich, Kent. [4]
