1852 Sarah Jane Wolfe, daughter of Jonas Wolfe and Anna Chronister, was born on December 9 at York Spring, Adams County, Pennsylvania. [1]

1873 John Weigle and Miss Wolf were married on January 7 in Holy Trinity Lutheran, Lutheran church, York Springs Twp, Adams County, Pennsylvania. Jonas Wolf was a sponsor. [2]

1880 John Weigle (age 36, born in Pennsylvania, married) lived in Menallen Twp, Adams County, Pennsylvania, in a household with Sarah J. Weigle (age 28), Minnie M. Weigle (age 6), Iraa A. Weigle (age 4), Anna M. Weigle (age 2), and Daisy C. Weigle (age 4/12). John Weigle's parents were both born in Pennsylvania. John Weigle was a farmer. [3]

1900 Sarah J Weigel (born in Pennsylvania in Dec 1852, married for 27 years), wife, lived in Menallen Twp, Adams County, Pennsylvania, in a household with John A Weigel (age 56), Ira A Weigel (age 24), Daisy C Weigel (age 26), Emma J Weigel (age 15), and John W Weigel (age 12). Sarah J Weigel's parents were both born in Pennsylvania. Sarah J Weigel had had 6 children, 6 still living. [4]

1922 John Andrew Weigle died on March 27 at Bendersville, Adams County, Pennsylvania. John Andrew Weigle, son of John Weigle and Mary Bream (both of Pennsylvania), was born February 1, 1844, in Pennsylvania. [5] [6]

Death of Mr. John A. Weigle

Bendersville, March 30. John Andrew Weigle, respected citizen of this place, died Monday morning after a two months' illness from a complication of diseases. He was 78 years, 1 month and 26 days old. Mr. Weigle was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. John Weigle, of Menallen township.

He was born and lived on the old Weigle homestead until 15 years ago, when he retired from active management of the farm and moved here.

Mr. Weigle is survived by his wife who before her marriage was Miss Sara J. Wolff. On January 7, 1922, the couple celebrated the forty-ninth anniversary of their wedding.

Mr. Weigle also leaves the following sons and daughters: Mrs. W. C. Weaner, of Bendersville; Ira Weigle. of Harrisburg; Mrs. W. E. Brough, of Aspers; Mrs. D. M. Hoffman, of Biglerville; Mrs. C. S Starner, of Aspers; and John Willet Weigle, of Gardners.' Twenty grandchildren and one great grandchild. One sister. Mrs. Savilla Myers, of Hampton, also survives.

Brief services were held this. Thursday morning from his late home and further services at the Lutheran church, conducted by Rev. W. D. E. Scott. Interment in the local cemetery.

1922 John Andrew Weigle died on March 27 and was buried at Bendersville Cemetery, Bendersville, Adams County, Pennsylvania. John Andrew Weigle was born on February 1, 1844. [8] [9]

1935 Sarah Jane Weigle, spouse of John Andrew Weigle, died on February 11 at Menallen Twp, Adams County, Pennsylvania. [10]
