1750 Jacob and Barbara Stoner, of Lebanon Twp, purchased land from William Morrison, of Derry Twp. Dated June 1. William Morrison patented the land in 1742 [1] The 157 acres of land was in Derry Twp, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania adjacent to lands of Thomas Wilson, Patrick Hayes, Charles Clark, and James Miller. 1752 Widow Barbara Stoner and Michael Baughman the elder and Michael Baughman the younger made bond for the estate of Jacob Stoner. Each signed with their mark. Dated December 30. [Photocopy, 1752 bond Jacob Stoner.]
1756 Hans Baughman, John Stoner & Christian Baughman appointed guardians over Christian Stoner, John Stoner, Elizabeth Stoner and Magdalena Stoner, orphan children and minor children of Jacob Stoner, deceased. Barbara Stoner and Michael Baughman, the administrators of Jacob Stoner, deceased, produced an account, whereby there appears a balance to be divided to the widow Barbara Stoner, Christ'n Stoner, eldest son, John Stoner, another son, and daughters Catharine Stoner, Elizabeth Stoner and Magdalena Stoner. Dated March 3, at the Lancaster County Orphans Court. [3]
