1919 Frank C. Hosler, son of Geo. R. Hosler (born in Woodview, Ohio) and Elizabeth Schell, died on January 20 in Mansfield, Richland County, Ohio. He was born on January 1, 1862, in Shauck, Ohio. [1]
1919 An obituary reports [3]:
Frank Hosler, Mansfield, O., Jan. 21—Frank Hosler, president and general manager of the Tracy & Avery Co., and acclaimed as one of Mansfield's leading citizens, died last evening at his home in this city. His death marks the passing of one of the men who has stood foremost in civic affairs and who has been a leader in the State among those engaged in his line of business.
For 29 years, Mr. Hosler has been connected with the Tracy & Avery Co., and during the past 22 years had been its active head. Since the death of F. E. Tracy in 1903, he has held the executive position with the company. He was born Dec. 31, 1861, at Shaucks, or Johnsville. He came to Mansfield where he took a position as shipping clerk for Bissman Co.
1942 Ella M. Hosler, daughter of Eli Porch and Sarah Cummings, died on April 6 in Mansfield, Richland County, Ohio. She was born on April 26, 1865, in Homeworth, Ohio. She was the widow of Frank C. Hosler. [4]
