1802 Catherine Patterson was born in York County, Pennsylvania. [1]

1808 Henry H Ruhl was born in York County, Penn, April 14, 1808, and was brought up on a farm.

1815 Henry Ruhl's father, Jacob, died when Henry Ruhl was 8.

1825 Catherine Patterson came to Richland County, Ohio from Maryland with her parents.

1832 Henry Ruhl joined the Lutheran church when he was 24.

1833 Henry Ruhl's family moved to Perry Township, Morrow County, Ohio and arrived May 10. They rented a house and then bought 160 acres from John Bingham for $500. They built a small cabin and cleared 7 acres of underbrush.

1834 Henry and Catharine A. Patterson were married March 20, 1834.

1835 Helen Elizabeth was born Feb. 28, 1835, and died in infancy.

1835 Henry's mother, Elizabeth Hosler, died.

1837 Kate was born Sept. 10.

1839 Leah was born Dec. 15.

Date unknown "Mr. Ruhle is an estimable citizen, and filled the office of Township Trustee for eleven years."

Date unknown Henry and his brother Jacob "They did 31 log rollings one spring, and about that many in the fall."

1840 Henry H Ruhl lived in Richland County, Ohio in a household with males: 1 (10 thru 14) and 1 (30 thru 39); and females: 1 (under 5), 1 (10 thru 14), and 1 (30 thru 39). Uncle George B Hosler was listed nearby. [2]

1849 Catherine joined the Lutheran church.

1850 Henry Rub (age 49, born in Pennsylvania) lived in Perry Twp, Morrow County, Ohio, in a household with Catharine Rub (age 47), Catharine Rub (age 11), and Leah Rub (age 9). [3]

1860 Henry Ruth (age 52, born in Pennsylvania) lived in Perry Twp, Morrow County, Ohio, in a household with Cathrine Ruth (age 57), Cathrine Ruth (age 21), Leah Ruth (age 19), and Levi E Ruth (age 16). [4]

1865 Leah Ruhl, daughter of Henry H and Catherine (Patterson) Ruhl, married Byram Levering. [5]

1865 Daughter Kate Ruhl married Jacob Rule, a farmer and grain thrasher from in Ohio on April 23.

1870 H H Ruhl (age 62, born in Pennsylvania) lived in Perry Twp, Morrow County, Ohio, in a household with Catharine Ruhl (age 68), Kate Ruhl (age 21), Jacob Ruhl (age 27), Eva Ruhl (age 3), and Susan Ruhl (age 15). H H Ruhl's occupation was farmer. [6]

1880 Henry H. Ruhl (age 72, born in Pennsylvania, married) lived in Perry Twp, Morrow County, Ohio, in a household with Cathner Ruhl (age 76). Henry H. Ruhl's parents were both born in Pennsylvania. Henry H. Ruhl's occupation was farmer. G. R. Hosler was the census taker. [7]

1883 The will of Henry H Ruhl, of Morrow County, Ohio, was dated August 17, 1882 and was proved on April 21, 1883. His death was reported as April 18, 1883. The will mentioned wife, daughter Catherine, daughter Leah. Both daughters had children, Witnessed by Amos Ruhl and S Foust. [8]

1883 Henry H Ruhl died on April 13, at age 74y 11m 29d, in Perry Twp, Morrow County, Ohio was buried at Woodbury Cemetery, Morrow County, Ohio. He was born in York County, Pennylvania. He was a farmer. He was married. [9] [10]

1885 Catharine Ruhl, wife H H, died on April 23, at age 83y 7m 11d, and was buried at Woodbury Cemetery, Morrow County, Ohio. [11]

1911 Catharine Ruhl, daughter of Henry H Ruhl and Catharine Patterson, died on October 31, in Perry Twp, Morrow County, Ohio. [12]
