Dec 6 ?(other nearby deeds are dated 1702-1707), John Page, of Doctor's Creek, in Freehold, Monmouth Co., East NJ, yeoman, for the fatherly love & affections he bears unto John Page of Doctor's Creek afsd., his oldest son, and for several sums of money to be paid by him to four children being William, Thomas, Sarah, and Edward, that is to say to pay the sum of £20 to each of them each within 4 years ensuing from the date hereof. AND, the £20 apiece to each of my afsd. four children when they attain the age of 21 years & he paid his father as above, then is released unto him a tr. of land in Monmouth Co., on the s. side of the brook called Doctor's Creek, being 300 a., as bounded in a Patent, dated 23 July 1697 from the Proprieters unto Anthony Woodward, then of Monmouth Co.. AND also all that dwelling house & all other buildings, etc. and wch. John Page, the father, bot. of John Harrison, by the name of John Harrison, late of Queens Co., Island of Nassau, on Long Island, NY, and now late of Monmouth Co., Gent., and wch. land & premises in now in the tenure & occupation of the sd. 1737 Mary Hopkins, daughter of Edward Hopkins (deceased), married Isaac Ivins Jr, son of Isaac Ivins of Mansfield Twp, Burlington County, on the 23rd day, 9th month. Several Page family members were witnesses. [2]

1741 Edwd. Page, of Monmouth County, New Jersey, and Elizabeth Groom had a marriage license in New Jersey, dated May 11, 1741 [3] They were both of Chesterfield, Burlington County. [4] [5]

Research Notes:

1726 Edward Page, of North Wales, Pennsylvania, and Rebecca Vanhagen, of Nottingham, Burlington County, New Jersey, were married on 19th day of third month, 1726, at the Burlington meeting. Witnessed by John Page, William Page, Eliz Page, Edward and Mary Mullen, Joanna Page, Mary Page, Margaret Page, and others. [6]

Wills for two men named Edward Page, perhaps father and son, were recorded in Burlington County, one deceased by 1802 and one deceased in 1813.

1771 Edward Page had a daughter, born on April 5, in Burlington County, New Jersey. [7]

1780 Edward Page was taxed in Chesterfield Township, Burlington County, New Jersey for "Acres of land 164; houses and lots 0; horses 3; cattle 3; hogs 5". [8]

1802 In October, Aaron Robbins and Ezra Black made the account for the estate of Edward Page, late of Burlington County. Money was paid to Abner Page, among others. Aaron Robbins was paid for boarding Edward Page between 1792-1802. Edward Page, among others, received a small payment, as an expense. No heirs were named. [9]

1803 The estate of Edward Page was administered by Aaron Robbins and Ezra Black. Asa Page and Daniel Page were named as exceptants. [10]

1813 Edward Page of Nottingham Twp, Burlington County, died. His will named wife Rebecca; sons Edward, Jacob, and Anthony; and daughters Susanna Sprague, Rebecca Emmons, Elizabeth Robbins, and Margaret Horsefull. [11] Edward Page willed everything to son Edward. Other children received $1 each. [12]

1814 John Hughes, John Imlay, John Dickson, Edward Page, Samuel Robbins, Anthony Borden, and Joseph Hughes, as trustees of the Methodist meeting house, granted land to Simeon Woodley by deed dated April 1, 1814. The land was in the suburbs of Allentown, Monmouth County, New Jersey. [13]

1816 At the May term court, Edward Page filed administration papers for the estate of Edward Page of Burlington County, including legacy payments to Jacob Page, Margaret Horsefull, Rebecca wife of Joseph Edmons, Susanna Sprey, and Elizabeth wife of Thomas Robbins; also a note against Anthony Page.
