1883 William Henry Good was born in Tennessee on September 2, 1883 [1]. His father Isaiah had lived in Indiana most of Isaiah's life, but had heard that the land was good in Tennessee. Isaiah found that the land was not as good as in Indiana and returned to Indiana after a few years.

1889 Mary C. Shannon, daughter of Jas. E. Shannon and Melissa Rector, was born on August 7 in Mary Ann Twp, Licking County, Ohio. [2]

1900 Isaiah and Anna Good lived in Turkey Creek, Kosciusko County, Indiana with children Amos I (age 19), William H (age 16), Irby (age 15), Levina (age 12), Lydian (age 9), James B (age 8), and Allen B (age 6). [3] [4]

1900 Mary C Shannon (born in Ohio in Aug 1889, single), daughter, lived in Indianapolis, Marion County, Indiana, in a household with James E Shannon (age 34), Lucy M Shannon (age 37), One J Shannon (age 8), Eva L Shannon (age 5), Jessie M Shannon (age 3), and Charles S Hanson (age 34). Mary C Shannon's parents were both born in Ohio. Mary C Shannon was at school. [5]

1901 William H Good, wks National Sweeper Co, lived at 1334 west 1st Street in Marion, Indiana. [6]

1903 William H Good, polisher for the National Sweeper Co, lived at 1649 west 2nd Street in Marion, Indiana, with his parents. [7]

c 1906 This photo of William with brother Irby, future-brother-in-law Warren Bailey, and other college friends was likely taken at Indiana Central College. William attended college for a few years, but the family did not have money to keep all of the sons in college at the same time, so William did not complete his degree, according to his grand-daughter, Margaret Gregory.

1908 William H Good, student lived in Marion, Indiana at the same address as his father. [8]

1909 William H Good graduated from Indiana Central College with a high school diploma. [9]

1910 Isaiah Good lived at 2WD Marion, Franklin Twp, Grant County, Indiana with wife Anna and children William, James, Allen, Lavina, and Lydian. [10] [11]

1910 Mary Shannon (age 20, born in Ohio, single), daughter, lived in Marion Ward 2, Grant County, Indiana, in a household with James E Shannon (age 44), Margret Shannon (age 46), Orrie J Shannon (age 18), Eva Shannon (age 15), and Jessie Shannon (age 13). Mary Shannon's parents were both born in Ohio. Mary Shannon could read and write. Mary Shannon was a saleslady. [12]

1911 Margaret Catharine Good, daughter of William Henry Good and Mary Catharine Shannon, was born on August 25 in Marion, Grant County, Indiana. [13] [14]

1912 Sister Lydian married Wilbur Sharon on August 14. Arthur and Ida Wirick drove a car to the wedding at the home of Isaiah and Anna in Marion, Indiana. Irby and Joseph's children met Henry's new baby Margaret.

1913 Anna Marie Good, daughter of Wm H. Good and Mary C. Shannon, was born on December 23 in Marion, Grant County, Indiana. [15] [16]

1913 William's father Isaiah died. William's residence was listed as "this city" (Marion).

1916 Martha Jane Good, daughter of William H Good and Mary C Shannon, was born on December 15 in Marion, Grant County, Indiana. [17] [18]

c 1917 William Good registered for the draft in Marion, Grant County, Indiana. He was a carriage painter married to Mary Shannon Good and lived at 1135 West 3rd St in Marion. [19] [20] [21]

1917 William's family posed for a picture on a dock in Florida with other Good family members on a cold Sunday in December. The wind was blowing their coats.

William began a business venture with a partner to open an art store in Marion, Indiana. The partner was not trustworthy, and the store was not successful for William.

1919 William H Good, painter, and Mary lived at 115 S G Street in Marion, Indiana. [22] [23]

1920 William H Good (age 36, born in Tennessee, married) lived in St Petersburg, Pinellas County, Florida, in a household with Mary Good (age 30), Margaret K Good (age 8), Anna M Good (age 6), and Martha Good (age 3). William H Good could read and write. William H Good was a carpenter. [24] [25] [26]

William was a successful home builder in the St Petersburg area. He bought a block of land at that time and prepared foundations for three houses at a time. When he finished one house and sold it, he started the next. [29]

1924 Mother Anna Rohrer's funeral was on 19 Jun at the 1st UB Church in Marion, Indiana.

1924 William's mother Anna died. William's residence was listed as St. Petersburg, Florida.

1924 Son Joseph P Good died in Pinellas County, Florida. [30]

1926 There was a financial failure in the St. Petersburg land market and William lost all but 3 properties.

1930 William H Good (age 46, born in Tennessee, married, first married at age 21) lived in St Petersburg, Pinellas County, Florida, in a household with Mary Good (age 40), Margerett Good (age 18), Marie Good (age 16), and Martha Good (age 13). William H Good's parents were both born in Indiana. The residence did not have a radio. [31] [32] [33]

1941 William Good Died in Pinellas County, Florida. [34] [35]

1941 William Henry Good died on May 19 and was buried at Memorial Park Cemetery, Saint Petersburg, Pinellas County, Florida. William Henry Good was born on September 2, 1883. [36] [37]

1942 Mary Catherine Good died, several months after William died, in Pinellas County, Florida, a grieving widow. [38]

1942 Mary Catherine Shannon Good died on January 4 and was buried at Memorial Park Cemetery, Saint Petersburg, Pinellas County, Florida. Mary Catherine Shannon Good was born on August 7, 1889. [39] [40]

Margaret Good Gregory related that Uncle Joe Good gave William a signet ring with his engraved initials which he bought with money from his first pay check! " My Father prized it, and now it belongs to our son, Thomas Harlan". The pocket watch belonging to William was given to his daughter, Anna Marie and she gave it to her son, Richard Alvin Loescher.
